  1. the modern greyhound is fed the best food given the best nutrients and kenneling and reguarly checked by the top vets as well as using the best breeding from all over the world plus straws used from studs that are dead but were top class .imo all this equels the fact that other than the odd one putting out a freak time ,we are seeing the best track times that we will ever see ,unlless someone invents a differant type of track that is faster than the sand ones being used at the moment .
  2. tony byrnes sonny will still be the one to beat imo.but it would be great to see some other full salukis running well this year.good luck to any that enter.

  4. really good photos whoever took them must have some camera .
  5. loved the welsh even with the bad weather. the setting was something else, made it unique imo.but last year was really bad weather wise and did spoil the show for everyone inc the stallholders .time will tell if it is a good decision to move it to the permanent showground ,but myself loved it where it was .but as saiid after last years rain and muck i suppose they had to do something .
  6. now that is a cracking set of photos some real nice dogs on there .to go with a cracking show .
  7. didnt think that would be around long real nice type hope she is gone to a good home, sounded a bargain to me i also always wonder what differance distance makes when looking for a dog.if i wanted a dog bad enough distance would not come into it tbh.

  10. imo only the owner knows the truth because he should know his dog better than anyone, hard for anyone else tosee from that clip.
  11. a good show needs plenty of differant classes as well as the normal classes things like rabbiting class beddie cross saluki cross bull cross etc but when ever i judge these i always try to pick a winning line up of what the cross is supposed to look like not something that has hardly any of the crosses traditional charataristics. also lurcher ,terrier and family dog racing plus speed jumping add a ferret show and/or racing along with the stalls and things to keep the kids occupied, and your well on the way to having a nice little show .try to get local buisnesses to sponsor a few trophies it a

  13. forgot to add the bulls over there pure and crosses are a sight to see especially in the weight pulling comp, and the raffle prize was a customised chopper motorbike ,bit differant to the normal bag of dog food on offer lol. all in all cracking day out .
  14. was over there on the weekend judging the lurcher show ,had a great weekend and austin who organised it was top man and gave us brilliant hospitality as did all the folk i spoke to .the lurchers at this show were , nearly all top class, with real quality in nearly every class and. made the long journey worthwhile to see, the class of lurchers over there.i dont know if this show was differant to others over there but the owners didnt seem to take it quite so serious as over here in the showing classes and seemed to enjoy the day out regardless of results .in fact it was just like it was over he
  15. there were a lot taken on the day be nice to see them up .
  16. just got back to wales a few hours ago from judging the lurcher show and gotta say what a cracking show. well organised,,brilliant craic with everyone and austin and his mates put hospitality to the max for us.also the irish couldnt have been more helpfull round the show one complete stranger even letting my mate use their phone to tel home because ours were all flat.on to the dogs and gotta say what a nice stamp of lurcher in ireland, overall the classes were much more competetive than over here with lots of classy lurchers in nearly every class. looking round the show the wheaten seems to fi
  17. it happens on all types of forums not just here what ive usually found is their normally trouble makers and /or gutless sort that havnt got the balls to post under their own username so come across all ballsy and macho when they think no one is going to find out who they are imo every member should only be allowed one account .this would cut out a lot of the shit that happens on here and other sites .
