    Agree with mole 100% so if you can find a tuned one, or indeed have it tuned if you dont want to do it yourself, you will have the best break barrel rifle out there, if you are not watching the pennies too much, a Sandwell field sports tuned unit will be a superb bit of kit.

    He means de-burred, internals polished, top hat and spring guide, and a proper lube, it really transforms them into a smooth, super accurate rifle, at around 11.5 ftlbs they are as accurate as any pcp when tuned.

    Try some H&N Baraccuda hunter extreme mate, they have worked very well in all HW barrels I have tried them in, there is a guy on youtube testing them in .177 in his hw 100 and they are spot on, he was switching to them from whatever he was using FTT I think, very deadly pellet in .177.

    I own bushing terriers,Bedlington based,if they did not go to ground id shoot them,if you want a busher that will not enter,then source a non entering type of busher,not rocket science is it?. Instead of al this culling, could you not pass them onto someone who wanted a bushing dog that did not go to ground?Just a thought

    If you buy a hw77 obviously in .177 you will not need another rifle, bitten by the bug or not, they are the business, save another 50 quid, and you will get a very nice rifle.
