Keep up with the silly image macros instead of debating the points I put forward. Guess you cant handle intelligent debate. Oh and I've already sent out my postal vote for Labour, enjoy having good old Red Ed as your PM Well if we do, enjoy your forthcoming enrichment, I hope you and all your lefty pals feel its full effect, traitors the lot of you.

Dont be so silly, you complete dumpling, do you think the British empire consisted of just Englishmen? I think you will find it was aided by the Scots, Irish, and Welsh, so take your anti English drivvel and pi*s off.

Probably a clue in the picture, all peados are detestable scum and should be hung from the nearest tree, irrespective of race creed or colour, there have always been scum like this in existence, but the home grown ones are our problem, that does not mean we have to invite turd world vermin who see it as a right, into our midst to carry on their sick depraved actions, against our people, and then to have it covered up by lefty scum, and for the victims to be sacrificed on the alter of political correctness.

All the best Englisc people, personally I think st Edmund should have never been replaced by st George, but nonetheless, proud to be Englisc.

Got the 17 shot mag yesterday, filled it up and tried it, and it works perfectly, very slick and positive, shot a couple of groups, and the accuracy was superb, just as good as the single shot option, its still a little pellet fussy, and hates my favourite H&N baraccuda hunter extreme but loves FTT, and superdomes, and Eley wasp too.

And yet another hmr blowing up thread, no doubt some clever so and so will come on and tell us hmr ammo is perfectly safe, glad you escaped unscathed.

Will A .22Lr Go Through??
charlie caller replied to snap306's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I feed my hawk bunnies, squirrels etc during the moult in the summer, I would never risk feeding the head, the risk of a lead fragment is too great, use a shotgun and steel shot, as I do on pigeons, or as others have said, take the head off. -
Welcome, good to have another member from over the pond, looking forward to hearing your hunting tales

What Deer Calibre For First Deer Rifle.
charlie caller replied to shropshire dan's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
And as for police guidelines Alsone, well what possible use are they really, lets say Fred Bloggs applies for a .22 cf for fox control and needs to get the ground passed, the police inspect the land and inform mr Bloggs of their findings, I am sorry says the officer, but that ground is not suitable for a .22 cf, the very crestfallen mr Bloggs takes his mate lamping on the ground a week later, his mate has an open certificate on a .30-06 and is quite legitimately able to shoot on the ground that only a week earlier was deemed unsuitable for a .22 hornet for instance, all rather silly if you ask -
Without a doubt mate, that or commie greens.

In theory yes. But the greater the velocity and the more energy, the greater the potential for a ricochet off something hard in the backstop and the further it will travel if it does. If it made no difference, the police wouldn't issue guidelines and we'd all be shooting 50 BMG against foxes and rabbits.......well those of us that could afford the ammo would! No. That's not true. .22 rimfire is far more prone to ricochet than any fullbore rifle round. As anyone who uses one knows only too well. -
Yes mate they do, I have done a fair bit of research on these for a while, mainly on the yank sites, the mk1 had a crappy safety and a different trigger, it could be sorted but needed fiddling with, this is the mk2 with a proper two stage trigger, I was not overly impressed when I first fired it, but after ten minutes adjusting,it is now a pretty decent two stage jobby, I might strip and polish the sears in the future, but will see how it smoothes out after a bit of use, it is getting more accurate every time I fire it, which indicates the barrel is shooting in, I also like the shroud with inb

You are right Mac, I cant help it .177 rules for me, yes it is a nice looking rifle, and the build quality is very good, they have obviously thought about these and not just slapped them together, they are not cheap, £735.00 I think is the average price for the shrouded barrel one, the none shrouded a little cheaper, I will do an update from time to time warts and all, to inform folk about them, and then at least if anyone is considering one they will have an honest opinion, I have to say up to now, I am very impressed, it is very very accurate, a little pellet fussy perhaps, but they have a s

If its a safe shot for a .22 rimfire, it is a safe shot for a .505 Gibbs big game calibre. -
I think the likelyhood of him making 20 posts is about the same as me boning Britney Spears tonight

What Deer Calibre For First Deer Rifle.
charlie caller replied to shropshire dan's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
From the little I know about big game, (about everything I've written here!), .308 is on the light side. .338 lapua or .375 mag much more suited to bear. Problem with these is both are severe overkill on deer and likely to pass through and then some, so only answer might be to get the .308 and borrow a rifle for bear shooting when over there. (Cross posted with SS) Mate there is no such thing as overkill, dead is dead, if you shoot a deer in the chest/boiler room, why would you spoil much meat regardless of calibre, personally if I was shooting bear I would want as much stopping power -
Lol, cant believe nobody said .22 its not of course, MAC is correct .177 however I am thinking if I really get on with it, I might like one in .25 on my fac, bet that would be fun at around 45ftlbs
