  1. Good offer there mate, just to reiterate what the others have said, check them out, BE CAREFUL
  2. Well finally decided to put mine on the air rifle to begin with, got it zeroed (pretty easy) and fortunately I wont have to shell out on some adjustable mounts, as the reticule is pretty near the centre once zeroed so over the next evening or two I should get out and blat a few bunnies with it, and give a mini report/review
  3. Yes the farms in Cheshire may be a little too far for more than a couple of trips a year, but there is no reason why you could not have them as your reason for an fac! This would enable you to get a rifle conditioned for land, then you are in a stronger position when you find some ground locally, its up to you mate but I know what I would do instead of buggering around with having your ticket conditioned for range shooting and then getting a variation when you find local land, you do not say what you were shooting, but if it was deer, why not apply on the basis of your existing land, and book
  4. When you say license, do you mean sgc, or fac if the latter what were you shooting? It would be relatively easy to book some deer stalking in Sussex, if you mean sgc then you do not need any land, clay shooting is justification enough, if you had a rifle would you not still have permission on your previous farms, just because they are out of your county of residence now does not mean you wont be granted on the basis of those farms.
  5. It is on CWD and Muntjac, it will be just perfect on Roe mate, drop em like 9 pins mate.
  6. You should not have to sell a rifle because some fuc*ing scum has nicked the lads bike mate, we could at least fund a courier to get Timmytree's offer of a bike to you, let us know, if we can help bud.
  7. As said split it mate, far more gains to be seen doing it that way.
  8. What a brilliant generous offer Timmytree, I am sure the lad would be over the moon, well done to you, Tron let us know what is happening, cheers.
  9. Cracking looking Beddy x mate, good luck, hope you meet some local lads
  10. Nice to see the recent hike in license fees is being put to good use then
  11. How about it lads read the gunsmiths apprentice post below, lets chip in and get the lad a bike
  12. What a shame for the lad, typical, puts 100% into learning his trade and going to work, and some piece of vermin steals his bike, as you say probably for his next tenner bag of smack, right, how about we have a whip round lads, to get him another bike? A tenner each should do it I reckon, or whatever you can afford, I will pledge the first donation to get the ball rolling, could be paid into a paypal account easily, come on lads, who's next??
  13. The Howa is a great rifle, however for something like a .223 rather heavy, my choice would be either a Browning a-bolt or a CZ 527, both very accurate rifles, and nice to carry round, I would however invest in the .222 over .223, but thats just me.
  14. Yes mate, even better if you can get a stuffed one
  15. My thoughts exactly, yes sh*t happens but he should have coughed up, wan*er
  16. I know mate, bloody useless lol, I keep changing my mind, air rifle rimfire hmmmmmm, I will make a decision soon and take it out for a spin.
  17. Your friend is quite correct, if he gets caught poaching he will almost certainly lose his licenses, something he obviously does not want to do, two choices really, go out with your friend and get some more permission, where he can use his guns legally, or get another friend
  18. I got shown how to shoot properly by an old boy, he was my rabbiting partner for many years, dead now, (woden take him) he was a sniper in the 50s with a Lee Endfield, .303 he made me exhale, and shoot between the heart beats, the old lad once did a 12 inch group at a 800yards with a bog standard .303 with rust in the barrel, that he had a special dispensation to have, as he was such a good shot with it, he ended his career training SAS snipers, they dont come much better than that
  19. Indeed mate I wonder why???????? fu*king scum the lot of them.
  20. http://labour25.com/?s=25+peadophiles Take a look here it says all I need to know about labour scum, as Seeker says, fu*k labour, fu*k the ban.
  21. Not being funny mate, but what did you expect? I cant imagine there are many leftard mps that will be voting to repeal the act, as said vote for another party next time, preferably UKIP
  22. Yes most enjoyable, a nice brace for the pot
  23. Not that I am aware of, however the lad on NV forum sells the new pill for 17 quid I think mate.
  24. The new AS pill is 30+% brighter than the old Osram pill, with the same driver apparently, and 90% brighter with a different driver, or at least that is the explanation on the nv forum, it is certainly a brilliant little torch thats for sure, got it of a lad on the nv forum who fits them with the new pil and has his own nv shop/site nite tech I think it is.
