  1. Probably is mate, I have not watched it yet but some of the private parking firms are scum, parking regulations do need to be enforced, or the country would grind to a halt, but oh dear me, it should not be a money making venture.
  2. I will do my best, leave it with me
  3. Correct, he is a member under the simple name Stan Zoury, he is one interesting bloke, some of the guys, or should I say their shooting methods, came under some criticism from one or two of the holier than thou types on there, did not phase him one bit, he posted some fab pictures as well, it would be great if he joined thl too.
  4. Yep he sure does, I was amazed too, but its 100% true, he is a member on SD.
  5. This and the M1 are the best semis in the world, somebody will snap this up.
  6. All those multi culty left wing, middle class pric*s that run the bbc must hate the fact that Top gear is their top money spinner lol, you can hear the gnashing of teeth from here
  7. I have spoken to Stan, on another forum recently, and I can say with a degree of certainty that he wont be stopping hunting any time soon I was a bit bemused by the fact that it was not on on tuesday as well, I had no idea the current series had ended, roll on the next series.
  8. Ok let me put it another way, lets say the op has ground passed for a .22 rimfire (hypothetically of course) are you saying that his ground is also passed for .22 rimfire magnum? or potentially the new .22 wsm when it arrives? it is certainly the case that ground passed for .22 is not automatically passed for .17 rimfire, so would he not be in contravention if he bought a magnum and used it on ground passed only for the .22 lr? I totally see where you are coming from Deker really I do, and I accept 100% that the mistake would be on the part of the police, however I am trying to stop the op and
  9. Thank you sir. I couldn't agree more, and wouldn't dream of buying a firearm of any type, without being 101% sure that I'm legally allowed to own it. I just hope this hasn't tarred me with the brush of 'another idiot with no interest in doing things properly and legally'. I was simply seeking the opinions of people more knowledgeable and experienced than myself. The FAO and I discussed the possibility of both during our conversation. I stated that I was more likely to go LR, based on all the facts that have been reiterated here today, WMR came up more as a previous experience topic, r
  10. Yes I think so, just going out and buying a magnum because some geezer on a forum said it was ok, is not going to wash, I dont care what people on here think, check first, to avoid a very sticky situation, is my advice, its up to you if you take it or not.
  11. Dude you need to reload for your swift you should get the cost down to around 12-15 euro, get a Lee hand press kit
  12. I like a glass or two of red in the house, but never been keen on drinking at home, unless its a function/party/barby ect, but to me there is nothing better than going out on the lash after a good days shooting or whatever, the post mortem of the day the craic the laughs, just as important to me as the day (nearly) and I must admit I dont feel like I have had a weekend somehow if I dont go out for a few on fri/sat night, I used to go out every night, not get pissed every night but go out, but times change, not necessarily for the better.
  13. If I moved anywhere abroad, it would be hickstown deep south, Alabama, Arkansas, ect land is very cheap, and you could live for next to nothing if you are a good hunter gatherer, cant see it happening now though, but never say never, I would like to live in Rio for a bit too, but fu*k me think I would be worn out in a month
  14. Indeed they are, triggers arent bad either, but can be improved on quite cheaply, happy shooting, you will love the .222
  15. I would exercise extreme caution here before going out and buying/attempting to buy a .22wmr, a call to BASC and your rfd would be a good idea to confirm that you are allowed a magnum, when your ticket states .22rf not .22wmr, seem like a pain in the arse? Well not as much of a pain as them coming and taking your ticket and rifle off you, 3 weeks after you got it.
  16. Dont discount that group from the Winchesters either, was looking pretty damn good until you made a balls of it lol.
  17. Very good price, will make someone a bloody good wildfowling gun, good luck dude.
  18. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2614834/Arrested-quoting-Winston-Churchill-European-election-candidate-accused-religious-racial-harassment-repeats-wartime-prime-ministers-words-Islam-campaign-speech.html there we are chaps a classic case of the double standards of the white race hating liberal elite, and I thought we had freedom of speech in this country? Oh sorry yes we do if you are a fuc*ing ethnic tw*t.
  19. Ahh ok mate I thought they used graphite, you can still get it here under the name dri-slide but it is expensive and like hens teeth.
  20. My advice would be find someone locally,(at the club I would have thought) who is willing to let you tag along and maybe have a go, a days pigeon shooting for instance, as you are aware there are many different kinds of hunting with sporting firearms, from vermin control to deerstalking and a host of stuff along the way,so it may benefit you to try one or two and see if a particular branch of the sport appeals to you strongly, it may be pigeon shooting, it may be wildfowling, it may be foxing with a rifle, or deerstalking, it may be all the above, get a taste for it and see if its for you first
  21. Well done mate, I enjoyed that, always great to get that small boy feeling back now and again, I guess the older we get the less it comes, that should have given your confidence a boost for the forthcoming holiday, I wish you tight lines, and some trout on the campfire,(if you find some wild garlick dig the bulbs up and crush a few, mix with some soft butter, and put inside your trout before cooking yum yum superb)
  22. How sad mate, sounded like a belting deal for someone, hate timewasters.
  23. Dont forget to de-grease your leader when you are fishing dries, Orvis mud is my favourite, it takes all the glint off the nylon and sinks it below the surface, rather than a dry/wet combination, try the New Zealand style, dry/nymph, a dry on the point, then tie 6-8 inches of tippet to the bend in the hook with the same knot you tie your fly on with then tie something not too heavy (hares ear would be good) on the end, you then have a dry on top with a nymph suspended below
  24. What a wanker, glad you are ok, you will get paid from the insurance fund mate, even if this tw*t has no insurance.
