I kind of miss being on the rigs, unfortunately I sit on my arse for 12 hours a day watching a computer screen which is mind numbingly boring. I love watching the time lapse videos though, it's really cool how they move those rigs, I'd never seen anything like it before.

I was trying to explain to the missus my work schedule but we have such weird terminology, especially Skidding the rig is a phrase we use to describe moving the rig from one wellhead to the next. I decided to show her what it mean to skid the rig and found this time lapse footage on youtube. In the US they drill two wells on each pad which covers a lease of land, they will drill one in one direction and the other 180 degrees the opposite direction and each pad has two wellheads. We drill one section of hole, run casing and cement it and while the cement is setting they will skid over to t

Exactly and for everyone else just because it is BGD who said it doesn't mean it's wrong lol Also I would personally advise that people not have open facebook pages, I am gobsmacked how many people I know allow ANYONE to be able to view their pages, set them up so only friends can see your updates and don't post stuff like this on public pages. It's easy to tell people to think before posting but minutes after a bomb has gone off people's feelings are running high, the cops won't take that in to account they are dying to make examples of people. Anyway I am not telling anyone e

For that money you could get complete tripe from CSJ, they have cheaper foods as well. I have tried a few of their feeds and the complete trip (dry food) seems to be the best when I weigh up value & quality. Their delivery costs are a bit weird, I think you are best buying 2x15kg bags at a time, the cost for delivery was about 6 quid but if I was going to order a 3rd bag it jumped up to 14 quid! https://www.csjk9.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=123&idcategory=4

It's been fun talking about a lot of these things but it's worth remembering that we do not have a first amendment like the Americans and therefore we don't have free speech. Hate speech laws are so ambiguous I don't think it's really possible to know what you can say anymore.

And that's the result of folk getting their knickers in a twist over a joke they find offensive. Ridiculous After every terror attack plenty of people get arrested and charged over facebook posts etc, we're on a forum full of SGC and Firearm holders I would not be surprised one tiny bit if it gets monitored, I know for a fact that facebook profiles get looked in to when renewals are being processed. There is nothing to be gained by posting in these threads and a lot to be lost not to mention a few careless words after a beer or two could result in a knock at the door or losing certs e

I'm following the recipe from the OP but I used a wine yeast which is mixed with nutrient...should I have used champagne yeast? So hopefully champagne but we'll settle for any result We've still got flowers on our bush but they turning brown in places, there is another huge tree up the road which has loads on it so we shall be paying that a visit next year. I wonder if you can freeze the flowers? We went to some friends last week who are really into foraging and making things and they gave us a glass of Elderflower wine made from pink elderflowers....they reconed it was 15% but after

It's well worth sticking with Scot, once you get it figured out it will be amazing especially if you are in the sticks with little artificial light. You will be able to see the craters on the Moon clear as day and see Mars and Venus, then you can look at the constellations. If you have a smart phone get the app called Nights sky or something like that, it uses your phone's gps, accelerometers and compass so that you can point you phone at a star and find out what it is....it's pretty cool. If I won the lottery I would definitely get a good telescope

Can I ask where these were taken roughly? -
With labs you have the show stock which tend to have wide heads and very thick tails, that's the kind you see most of the time and when overfed they look fat and horrible. You don't see working stock on the streets as pets, mine has Drakeshead and other working lines in him, he's kennel club registered and he was always very slim for a Lab, some shooting mates used to take the piss and say he was half whippet lol. His head is much thinner and he doesn't have that fat otters tail either. Until he got a lot older (like 7 years old!) and started filling out a bit I would get asked a lot what

Think we made the same mistake with the beetroot and lettuce but they're still growing so it's all good -
Stunning photos, it's great to have so many talented photographers on the forum. Nuthatch is top of my list to see as I've yet to see one
