  11. Millook Haven I believe, this is a result of two tectonic plates colliding millions of years ago. The rock is interbedded sandstone and shale which has been pushed up against something else creating zig-zag folds. So in short it's created during the process of mountain building, these are rocks from the sea-bed which have ended up at the surface during the collision of oceanic plates...I think...I've had a few beers so might have to re-check but I'm probably right on this. It's cool though, we love the land we hunt on but the processes that made it the way it is happened millions of y

I started discovering empty pea shells down there a few days ago so it looks like the wife has been munching her way through them and not sharing her bounty lol I discovered last year my wife doing the same thing but was in cahoots with the lab who was eating the shells , there was me thinking I needed to brush up on my gardening skills but in truth needed to update the security ... I have no likes....again! That is hilarious, does your Lab eat carrots as well? We were going to grow some but then I thought he might discover them, dig the plot up and eat the lot....there are fe
  17. What socks said I fished France a few year back water was very very hot and they lost a fair amount of fish that' week and the fishing was slow I always fish deep using a fly for trout when it's hot since there is better oxygen levels deep down, when I've seen fish swimming shallow they are impossible to catch and never take any notice of what I present to them. I would prefer to fish in the evening on a summers day, get a good hatch going and the lakes can be bubbling with fish feeding from the surface, a dry fly is the most fun I've ever had and tbh I don't care too much if I don't c
