  8. not to bad that try cut heal made by multicare this is cracking stuff and heals the pad up properly you need to be careful with the pads so they heal properly i think its healing from the inside out you need some stuff doesnt heal like that, would be more knowledgeable peeps on here who would tell you, the pad should take about 10 days to heal so no walking till after that i would say then a few days on the lead then he should be good as new.
  9. i do mainly ratting as bunnys a bit thin on the ground i do,i find the small lurchers and whippets do very well on the ratting they are just quicker to cover the ground and pick them up quicker, also if your permissions are farmlands with ditches the dogs jump these to pick up rats before they can swim across and be away while the smaller dogs are just jumping in trying to get to them its all good fun though.
  10. nothing better off the mark than a whippet for bunnies i suppose it depends on what sort of ground you are working on ie small fields or large areas and cover etc any dog can get skin tears on barbed wire so wouldnt say that should be an issue.whippet dogs can tend to be more head strong but i would say this helps more with the prey drive i find the bitches more biddable though and loyal and would have a full whippet over a whippet/beddy anyday look at nimrodel/laguna lines you wont go far wrong.
