I feed mine a lot of trout, a couple of minutes in the micro then pull the head up and most if not all the bones come out with it. the dogs love them. Yours in sport Pernod

Kent leg end how many foxes are we talking about here?? what weight and tts was the whippet?? And more to the point who the f@ck puts a whippet to foxes every week, occasionally if you bump into them lamping is cool, but puting one one on them weekly is a wee bit stupid. Where are these pups based that are all doing foxes single handed?? Get some pics up if you can, to we see the measure of these dogs, because it is quite a claim. Yours in sport Pernod

A bit of both mate. If just out a mooch, then there is nothing better to watch than a lurcher following whats going on in cover. But when after bigger things years ago we always got a lot more game by positioning the dogs where we anticipated a bolt would come. A wee bit like beating to waiting guns !!!! yours in sport Pernod

hi mate, i would try one of the numerous pet sites, this site is or should i say should be orientated to proven working stock. good luck in your search. Yours in sport Pernod

The hunting life at its best. its unfortunate that the guy bought or was gifted (cant quite make out what) a young bitch that was up the duff with unknown sire, but why the f@ck would you come on here and tell everyone about your cockup. give your head a good shake FFS. Yours in sport Pernod

I may be reading this wrong, but seems a bit of an idiotic question that only an idiot would answer. Yours in sport Pernod

Im afraid but anyone who would want to work a ferret with a muzzle on deserves a boot in the nuts. its just plain stupid and in some instances cruel.Ferrets can and sometimes do come into contact with critters underground that can inflict punishment on them. If you care for ferret give the muzzle idea a bit more thought and while your at it give your head a good shake. Just my opinion of course. Yours in sport Pernod

Are you saying that its ok for your dog to be off the lead and kill a cat in the street? Cheers Gaz come on Gaz you know these threads always bring out the macho men.( they will be queueing up to contribute to this one) it could be some kids pet FFS. Control of feral cats is a totally different subject from the responses these threads normaly provoke. Yours in sport Pernod

This topic would be more interesting if we heard the full story. Yours in sport Pernod

Hi Gaffer, use some of your crafting skills and make yourself a good thumbstick. I always carry one when walking the dog, it makes the whole aggressive dog/fight situation a lot easier to control or stop. Yours in sport Pernod

Mate, if both the dogs were 2+ when you got them, you most likely have inherited someone elses cast offs. far better getting yourself a pup and doing it yourself. Just my opinion of course. yours in sport pernod

mini jrt instead of a ferret?
pernod replied to Ricky Pettit's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Mate from what i read the only idiot response is from you. I know people trust their dogs with kids, and go through life with no incidents. but im afraid babies clambering over dogs is a big no no. Most the horror stories you read about some poor kid scarred for life are accompanied by a statement from the cretin owner saying '' but he was always great with kids''. sorry mate but i value my kids too much to ever put them at risk. yours in sport Pernod -
Hi mate, you seem to have a bit of bad luck with dogs, last year it was a bull cross you were rehoming. I'm sure its not only me only me that can see a pattern here???? Yours in sport pernod

Hi mate, get yourself out a walk around shewalton dump, or around the pulp mill, both these areas hold loads of rabbits. I drive by the pulp mill every day, and always see rabbits. Hope you get some easy ones Pernod

Sounds like your mate is full of shit, mate. who in their right mind would stand back an let a copper administer pills to their dog. Perhaps the dog could be confiscated and a vet administer them but not plod. Pernod

Hi mate, if you find out for sure that the guy snipped the teeth, then give him a boot in the balls from me next time you see him, he sounds like a prize w@nker. Yours in sport Pernod

pernod replied to sterob99's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Hi mate, if your happy enough with your collieXwhippet and just want sometheing a bit bigger, then as FTBBTH says a collie X greyhound should fit the bill, either 1/2 bred or 3/4 bred. Pernod -
Hi mate, i do quite a lot of trouting and during this catch a few perch. They can be caught on almost any trout lure / fly, cats whiskers, tadpoles, etc etc. Pernod

Hi mate, nice looking wee dog, he looks a lot better without the clipping. is his tail a stump or is it just the way he carries it? Pernod
