  3. they can get ballsy when there used to humans and lose they fear of dogs from facing pet dogs and cats off, thats why they will sit there that little bit longer and it will be there undoing.
  4. my dads two jack russells got me the bug when i was about 9 used to walk them up the fields behind my school which held a good number of rabbits the odd fox and some feral cats il never forget the first good hunt they got of a fox in a big bramble patch the buzz and adrenaline rush i got from that had me hooked, started to venture further in the country from then looking for more game, bumped in to like minded kids in the country who are still friends and hunting partners.
  5. thats suprised me.id have thought most salukis would take fox with ease. with ease yeah start of the season young fox no problem, when they meet a good strong winter fox they soon throw in the towel as i seen on more than 1 occasion when there not getting there own way.had a bitch was flying her first season but never really met a good fox till her second season and she jacked and wouldnt even course them after that.new off 1 dog that was a proven dog but now dead.but like i say a proven dog is hard to find not a dog that takes 2 or 3 a season and classed as a fox dog.i think saluki bull gre

  12. my friend had a bedlington/whippet 18 years ago the only 1 i have ever seen work,it did lack in pace, but what a dog to drive cover and find game was unreal, loved fox would hunt them all day,and was dug to plenty of times was a true worker.
  13. good bag there terv well done. i agree morton had two years ago both excellent rabbit dogs at day ferreting bushing hunting up were excellent would go as far as to say the dog was the best ferreting dog i ever seen, the bitch was a great dog to hunt cover would put some terriers to shame, they werent the best lamping dogs in the world but for their size and weight you couldnt complain they were all heart, have a soft spot for them will have another in the future.
