Listened to it at work...thought he came over alright...his opinions on homosexuals ect are what he's took out of the bible...he didnt deny it...just the media have tried to twist it...the media is ran mostly by gays so he's hardly going to get a fair hearing...the bloke who started the petition came across as a right berk

Ali used to call Sugar Ray Robinson "my king my master my idol"...Robinson was close to the young Cassius Clay and also long time friend of Joe Louis...he said that if Henry Cooper could knock Ali down...then Joe Louis would knock Ali out...maybe the same could be said about an in his prime Mike Tyson?

Jimmy Tibbs predicted Fury to win...Joe Gallagher predicted a Fury win on points and Carl Froch predicted a Fury win by stoppage.

What needs to be remembered is Calzaghe fought Hopkins and Jones jnr at the end his career...when Joe was past his best...when he was in his prime Warren made major efforts to get the Hopkins fight on...but Hopkins was unreasonable and didnt want to know...if you read the boxing papers from back then its all in there...the match couldnt be made...and when Joe was in his prime Jones jnr was more interested in fighting at Light Heavy...thats not Calzaghe's fault...the only fault with Calzaghe's career in hindsight was that he should of fought over in the states a bit more...but he was the Champi

Hearn ripping them off! What a load of bollox The Joshua-v-Whyte fight is pay-per-view!!...for a British title fight!! PPV!!...now that is ripping the fans off in my opinion...maybe they just cashing in on A.J while they still can PPV for the fury fight is a rip off. Many people will ppv for AJ because he has a personality. Hearn makes sure hes boxers earn top money, Not like most other promoters. Ive never watched a bad hearn promotion yet. "many people will ppv for AJ because he has personality"....really??!!!...im just paying to watch the boxing...couldnt give a f**k what his

Anthony Joshua is an exciting prospect for sure...but i cant help thinking those getting excited by him so early on...probably got just as excited about Audley Harrison...both where Olympic gold medalists both blasted out their early opponents and had a ton of money and hype thrown at them...he looks wide open to a left hand in my opinion..just like he was in the amateurs...a switch hitter like Tyson Fury would destroy Joshua or the first decent southpaw he gets in with...if he fights like he did against Johnson...Whytes defense can be sloppy but he has a hellof a good left hand on him...i thi

Doesnt warrant being pay per view its probably the best British card of the year ! Joshua/Whyte Eubank jnr/O Sullivan Mitchell/Barosso Bellew Warrington Ward Cambell Beyond Fury/Klitchko last night id never heard of anyone. The first Crolla-v-Perez fight had a hell of an undercard but that wernt pay per view and rightly so...when fans are shelling out for Sky and boxnation to watch boxing...making British title fights Pay-per-view is a rip off

On a final note...what has made me laugh reading the papers at work today...is that Floyd Mayweather jnr can back pedal and dance round the ring for 12 rounds and be called a genius...but Tyson Fury bobs. weaves and switch hits his way to Boxings biggest prize...and somehow its a low point in the sport...funny old world eh? lads

Hanging here too...off out for a livener on me way down Carrow road as we got Arsenal at home today...wont be betting on that...did have money on Fury...if Whyte can do the business on the 12th...im in for a nice few quid...good to have a British born Heavyweight champion of the world...despite how bad a singer he is Did you have the double on the Joshua/Whyte fight as well then ? what price did you get ? Fair play to you its always refreshing to see folk having the courage of their conviction to put their money where their mouth is andcommit to a prediction instead of half heartedly

Its why most " professional " athletes prefer to keep their parents at a safe distance.......proud parents bring too much emotion to a situation requiring calmness. "Professional" athletes like the best British and American boxers of the last 20yrs Joe Calzaghe and Floyd Mayweather jnr????...being slapped round his face by his old man between rounds didnt do Joe Calzaghe too much harm

Nothing to thank Hearn for really field marshall...as eddie and Joshua didnt really want the Whyte fight...but Whyte is mandatory challenger for the common wealth title...i can see that big left hand of Whyte's causing Joshua all sorts of problems like it did when he put him on his arse in the amateurs...yes the amateurs and the pros are a different game...but watch that Johnson fight...Joshua looks wide open to a left hand...Whyte seems a decent kid...hope he upsets silverspoon eddies gravy train

Why would anyone really be interested in what a boxers dad has to say??...but nothing new is it...the heavyweight Jerry Quarry's family would regular kickoff at ringside...and so did Micky Wards sisters...and John Fury's nowhere near as cringe worthy as Eubank Snr

Nice to see them shake hands...in the build up to this fight its reminded me a bit of the build up to the Hatton-v-Tszyu fight...Kostya Tszyu was a hell of a fighter and many predicted he would do the same sort of demolition job on Hatton as he had on Shambra Mitchell the year before...even on the night that old woman Jim Watt was talking Hatton onto one of Tyszu big right handers...but age caught up on him...and after many said Tszyu was over the hill...wonder if history could repeat its self on saturday night??...Klitschko looked old in his last fight with Jennings imo...i feel Fury is catch

44/1 with Skybet....not a bad bet in fairness. However.....just for a little more incentive if you add these to it ( winners in capitals ) DEGALE/Bute QUIGG/Frampton SAUNDERS/Lee EUBANK JNR/O Sullivan MACARINELLI/Jones It runs out at 726/1..........cheeky little 15k return on your score As for Gazza....what a silly comparison.....a man who was loved and adored for the humility and friendship he gave to other British footballers......compared to a man who said every other British boxer was dogshit ! Like ya style...but i got Lee beating Saunders unfortunately...
-
When i get the chance to drop in on my bookmaker...im having a score on the double...Fury to beat Klitschko...Whyte to beat Joshua...more of a wish list than a premonition...wonder what odds he will give me?...

Fairly recent mate last week You sure thats recent??...get the feeling that was shot a while back??...anyone remember the full on medicine ball routines the old trainer George Francis did with Bruno?...he would turn in his grave watching that...looks like induction day at fitness first during cheap offer week I'm pretty sure kugan shot the footage in the last week mate Infact im postivie I can remember him announcing it As i thought that footage isnt recent...probably years old...Fury looking in great shape for the 28th

Dont look too bad that Socks...got a couple on my hands myself...always thought the Jaggermeister logo would make a decent Tattoo design...dont know what you do for a living...but if you work with your hands like me..hands always getting knocked and cut...i'd keep it covered for a few weeks at work while it heals...a pair of them fingerless site type gloves would do

Tyson Fury To Quit Boxing After He Beats Wlad?
AKA-BRINDLE replied to Gaz_1989's topic in General Talk
I've followed boxing for all of my life, I remember sitting downstairs at silly hours with my dad when I was a kid listening to the radio when the likes of Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield were in the heavyweight division and I've never, ever thought about supporting a foreign boxer over a local one. Never. But I really am in 2 minds about this fight and as much as I want that heavyweight belt in the country, I really don't like this Fury fella. The only reason I want him to win, is so that I can see AJ take the belt off him. And that's sad really. I hate to say it Gaz...but i -
