  1. Youd have to ask Rob Mcracken...as he's Joshuas real trainer
  2. theres also a good vid on there of Shane Mcguigan taking David Haye on the pads...he's certainly not lost any of his power on that vegan diet!!...spend a good part of it repeatedly hooking off the left jab...and thats the punch that will finish Joshuas unbeaten run (if the Hearns ever let him near A.J)...in my opinion
  3. Theres better fights for him to be made in my opinion is all im saying Gaz...dont know how to put up links...but theres a good interview with Frank Warren on youtube done a few weeks back where hes talking about Joshua,Martin and the Hearns...i dont agree with all Warren says but he makes some real good points...worth checking out
  4. See the first pair of Swallows here in Norfolk on the 4th April...bet they wished theyd stayed away now...weathers turned f***ing shiet!
  5. If Hughie stops Kassi thats as good as anything Joshua has on his record...we all knew Hearn would milk it with a bunch of easy defenses...looks like it will be late this year or even next before he faces the winner of Takham-v-Parker.
  6. Saw Breazeal fight Mansour a while back...Mansour well into his 40's and about a foot shorter...put Brezeal on his arse...was well ahead til he pulled out with a cracked jaw?...Joshua should have him out nearly as quick as he did Martin...every new Champ allowed an easy first defense i suppose...but of the names being thrown around would of preferred to seen him in with Steiverne...dont think i will bother watching this
  7. but if AJ takes Parker out in a few rounds it will be same old saying he's not been tested Parker didn't turn up all the usual crap all these fighters surly can't all be the same having off days and not wanting to win?..... AJ ain't been tested yet because not 1 person that's been put in front of him can take it or put it on him it really is as simple as that... Whyte would trouble any man in that division with his power caught AJ rocked him he soaked it up beat him... Johnson durable never been stopped took klitchko and fury the distance people said this guy will see if AJ can do 12 rounds ou
  8. Love him or hate him...fact is if Fury hadnt of taken the belt off Klitschko...Joshua wouldnt be wearing it now...and thats what sticks in the throats of alot of boxing fans...the fact Martin came halfway round the world to make his first defense of the title shows its more about money than anything else...none of thats Joshuas fault...but all the likes of me want to see is Joshua in a good competitive fight...interested to see the outcome of the Takam-v-Parker IBF eliminator...then we a step closer...would like to see Joshua in with Parker...would also like to see him in with Tyson Fury...pot
  9. How do you work that out ?.......If either of them have had an easy time its Fury.......Fury didnt have the weight of expectation of an Olympic medal hanging round his neck.......after 32 rounds of pro boxing Joshua was pushed into a world title fight......after 32 rounds of pro boxing Fury was still being allowed to learn and develop knocking over cab drivers he was given the best part of 8 years to get to the same stage of his career Joshua was pushed to in 2 years........ Fury is a gypsy warrior who has been fighting since he was in the cot hasnt he ?.....Joshua was 18 years old before he e
  10. Hughie is stepping in to head line as Billy Joe Saunders has had to pull out due to a hand injury...a quick look at the fella hes fightings record...only name that jumps out is a draw with Chris Arreola who was stopped by Stiverne in a fight for the vacant WBC belt...Wilder went on to beat Stiverne...Hughie is only about 22...he seems to lack power...but maybe he will improve develop with age...maybe he dont...but the lads a decent boxer for sure
  11. "But your reputation is what people think you are...your character is what you really are"...Sugar Ray Robinson...died this day 1989

    1. bird

      bird

and lb for lb was the best in the world

  12. Helped line the pockets of the IRA and paki terrorists...was a grass for MI6...made a fortune but didnt have the brains to quit while he was ahead and dragged his family to jail with him...not my idea of 'nice'...but wouldnt wish cancer on him
  13. Scott was hanging around the Joshua camp like a bad smell before the Whyte fight...yeah he would be ideal...the mans a f***ing cheat!...watch him take a blatant dive in the Wilder fight...then there was the Chisora fight when he let himself get counted out...just the sort of fraud i expected him to make his first defense against...looking forward to Parker-v-Takam next month...one step closer to Joshua getting a proper fight
  14. When's he ever taken a big shot wobbled by an injured Dillan Whyte we've only seen him hit clean once in the pros still has a lot we need to see fury might not have the power like aj but that's all aj has got fury has ten times better moment and general boxing ability than ajFury has better boxing ability than Aj! Behave Shannon Briggs would knock out fury. I can't wait until either Haye or Aj fight Tyson fury because it's game over for him. So how you work that out then mate?...Haye was schooled by Klitschko...well beat...Fury beat Klitschko fair and square...Haye avoided Fury messed him a
  15. You cant compare Wvladimir Klitschko with Charles Martin...Klitschko had dominated the division for years and no one was giving Fury a chance...AJ's just blown away a very poor heavyweight we all knew was shit...i wouldnt say i was a 'fan' of either boxer...Furys antics and mouth make me cringe and the hype around Joshua makes me sick...but it pretty clear Fury has been proven at a higher level Words from Furys own mouth "klitchco is a nobody who has been a champion in a poor heavyweight division. He has been fighting bums for the last 10 years" I agree Fury has proven himself more but

  17. Over the last few years boxing seems to be heading the way of wrestling...a bit cringeworthy at times
  18. It won`t be this year as Fury is fighting Klitchko in July. AJ`s next fight will not be before Aug/Sept. would think he would fight a couple of bums before fighting a mandatory which will be the winner of Parker-v-Takham...so a fight with Fury could be way off...he got to beat Klitschko yet...think the re-match could well be a different fight...Klitschko will want to go out on his shield...got the feeling he will take the fight to Fury this time
  19. Joshua can only fight whos put in front of him...and he done his job last night...but in my opinion thats one of the worst Heavyweight world title fights i can remember...the way the IBF have carried on this last year is a disgrace in any right thinking mind...stripping the title off Fury and installing Martin as Champ...what a farce!...the IBF loses a lot of credibility as a title...paper title is about right...we all knew Martin was a poor but last night he was only there for the payday...quit while making it look like he missed the count...thought last night was poor...Groves was a miss mat
  20. Joshua is just the English/IBF version of Wilder...both gifted a title...neither really fought anyone
  21. Show of Hands new album...'the long way home'...return to form for them
  22. Back in the 1700's-early 1800's there was only one Champion...the English Champion...title usually held by the biggest blokes....Heavyweights... other weight classes came along later...an early one was Welter...this is a term taken from horse racing as I understand it...Bantam...I don't know....comparing the smaller men to the smaller game cocks maybe??...Straw weight is the term the WBC used but known as mini-fly weight by the IBF think this was established as late as 1987...others where established later too...super middleweight in 1984 and cruiserweight in 1979...like Angelo Dundee used to
  23. My old man told me as a kid that brindle dogs had more fire in them...un true I know...but its always stayed with me and brindles always catch my eye...only ever owned one brindle dog myself...a Stafford...you used to see a lot of brindles back in the 80's...not so many now
  24. ah right I see...looked like to me he just signed it as the kid was holding it...people just seem to hate Fury...but if that's all they can find to pick holes in...then he cant be doing too bad I just dont think any of the Fury s are as good as they think they are and anything they have done so far has convinced me other wise its as plain and simple as that ...I see Tyson as a bit of a deluded cartoon character whos had a very easy route to become HWCW but then so have most today ...just my opinion ....lets hope in a year or 2 there is only 1 champion holding all the belts and I have m
