    My Mrs has a thing for Hardy...so as its double Hardy no doubt will see it at some point...seen the trailer...the bit where he comes in the pub and shouts about it being a 'shoot out!'...is more Alan Partridge than eastend gangster...i do like a good Brit gangster flick...but doubt this will be another get Carter or long good friday...but i rate Hardy as an actor...saw him in Child 44 the other night...always thought he would play a good Jem Mace in a film version of the book Fifty years a fighter(.if i say it often enough maybe it will happen) Never seen the whole film just clips of long go

    Have heard those lush green hills and valleys produce some of the best recreational fungi on these isles...me and Mrs Brindle climbed Snowdon last year beautiful part of the world for sure...as a kid we spent our summers fruit picking...the general rule was to not eat more than you weigh in on the first day...i'd say the same rules apply to mushrooms

    Do kids still do proper acid/LSD these days?...cannot remember the last time i heard of anyone taking a tab...had some great times on it as a youngster...not cartoon characters jumping outta walls type stuff...just 100% good time...all these legal highs...whats wrong with the good ol tried and tested stuff?...dont do anything these days...just a good drink...prefer my real reality...getting up at 6am with the dogs for a mooch on sunday morning...rather than just getting in...and the days f****d

    that's it , anybody shoot a gun , any young bloke wanting to make a name for him self more so on drugs , would take either of them gays out no prob , and they the krays wouldn't have been missed well not by me, and I was born in 1952 . my old chap was proper man had 4 kids , worked 60 hours a week 2 jobs, looking after us 4 kids , we came 1st him+ mom second that's a man to admire , not couple puffs tooled up with plenty back up , that's cowards .!! Bird they wasnt out to make their families proud they was out for fame and fortune.....which for a couple of not very bright

    just read your edited to add..'Britains Gangland'...by Norman Lucas...published in 1969...a book i had as a kid...the whole Kray case was in it...it was all over the papers...and has continued to be through the 70's 80's 90's ect ect...everyone knows the Kray's story...

    I worked with a plummer who was apprenticed to a fella who worked on their club...they spared no expense in doing up their club...then f****d off all the local trades and paid no one...taking the cars off the car lot...ask around he said it was common knowledge...everyone too scared to do anything...the fella with the car lot couldnt even claim on insurance as he darent report them stolen and had to swollow it...as for 'kiddy fiddlers'...well one of them was...as thats what led to their down fall Al Capone better or worse?...i dont know...but he was certainly much much more successful...t

    Spent how many years banged up? god knows why anyones attracted to that. Pretty much an advert for why not to do crime rather than making it glamorous. I certainly wouldnt call it admiration but i have a healthy respect for any man who pulls himself out of the gutter and creates a better life for themself......the Krays were an extremely poor not particularly intelligent pair of brothers who used the only quality they had to obtain wealth.......maybe in todays times they could of just held their hand out and signed on the dole to get brand new cars ! It just amuses me some of the word

    Anyone grow hops?...or is it just me?lol...grow them all round our garden as i just like the look of them...had a good harvest last year with some massive cones...was looking to be even better this year...but somethings killed em...eaten all the leaves and left these bettle chrysalis...i take what i harvest to Adnams as they do a Wild hop amber ale...the bines have re-sprouted a bit...but not worth harvesting now...anyone else noticed this??...hope it dont effect the price of next years pint!
