Been out today putting some serious miles in with the dogs working up an appetite ..Christmas is a license to pig-out!...just smashed in a whole tray of them ready done from frozen roast potatoes...now steaming into a 5lt keg of Adnams Broadside...not something i'd usually be doing on a Tuesday night...but f**k it im on me holidays!
  2. A life without compromise...all said and done...70 was a good age to make it to...after the lives he lived...and lived to the full...speed dont kill and i'm the proof...i dont want to live forever...killed by death
  3. Fan-fukin-tastic combination of wet and warm this end...nothing like trudging through mud soaking wet sweating your nuts off
  4. Bubble'n'squeak on boxing day...always too many to do it in a frying pan so knock up a couple of oven trays full...mash up all the leftovers everything and grate up loads of cheese on top and bake it...served with a gammon joint and poached eggs...if we got a home match boxing day we go back to mine for a reheated plate full to soak up the ale...i must be the only one that likes turkey?...eat it all year round...love the stuff!
  5. f**k me its really not that complicated.....Jimmy mentioned a few trainers he had spoke to that thought Fury would win and some who thought he would lose.....i dont know Gallaghers " opinion " myself as i didnt speak to him.......stop trying to go all Sherlock where its not needed whether you believe 3 + 3 is 6 or 7 makes no odds to me whatsoever.......are you not the chap who has read every book on boxing ever published ?........do you dissect everything this intently or do you only believe things read with your own 2 eyes Do i believe everything i read with my own 2 eyes...No not re
  6. Its on Boxnation...really like Saunders...but got a feeling Andy Lee will stop him late on...been looking forward to this...a good scrap without all the hype and bollocks
  7. Jimmy Tibbs predicted Fury to win...Joe Gallagher predicted a Fury win on points and Carl Froch predicted a Fury win by stoppage. I dont know where you,ve had that from.....Jimmy Tibbs thought he would get stopped......Froch said live on the tv program he thought he would get beat.....Joe Gallagher ive no idea.......the only one of the 4 fighters/ex fighters on the live program who thought he would win was Amir Khan. Octobers issue of Boxing monthly...its there in print for the world to read...Jimmy Tibbs="Its never a good fight with the German, but i fancy Fury mind, with the fight
  8. Ive said before i liken this part of the forum to a pub where its often fun listening to the way different folk see the world.....on these boxing topics its usually pretty clear who has a little bit of experience of what they are talking about and who wouldnt know how to tape their hands let alone lace their gloves !.....some of it makes for hilarious reading i imagine it would give experienced taxidermists a similar laugh if i went onto the taxidermy section telling folk how to stuff a fox head The thing all these gypsy fans need to keep in mind when doing all their little comparisons is
  9. Reading this threads given me a good chuckle...seems the A.J band wagon are just as touchy as the Fury fan club when it comes to a bit of criticism for their hero...look lads Anthony is definitely not on steriods...cos his dad told us!
  10. Shock of the night...who the hell was that teak little wisen monkeyman who beat Kevin Mitchell up???...where the f**k did he come from??!!...bet Anthony Crolla didnt sleep well last night either!...looked to me that Eddie Hearns desperate need to bolster the card up to justify it being PPV led to poor Luke Campbell being over matched...i didnt know they made Frenchmen that tough (neither did Hearn)...Tony Bellew needs to have a differnt route for his road work...one that dont go past KFC McD and burgerking...chisora was in better shape with only 2 days notice...but the biggest disgrace of the
  11. Well that was certainly an entertaining evening of boxing...at times for the wrong reasons...a decent enough finish by Joshua but thats about it...when Whyte caught him with a left in the 2nd round i thought christmas was coming early...but ya win some ya lose some...we knew Whyte wasnt really world class...now we know Joshua isnt either...he's just Audley Harrison with half the boxing skills...as soon as he steps up in class he's getting K.O'd thats pretty clear...now before someone tells me hes only a novice...only had 15 fights...you cant have it both ways...hyped as the next big thing and

  13. Nope...i got money on Whyte to win...not wishing to repeat myself again but i think that big left hand of Whyte's will give Joshua trouble again just like it did in the amateurs...i got this as part of a double with the Fury/Klitschko fight at 44/1...really hoping to see Dillian upset the apple-cart...this being pay per view is a piss take in my opinionA piss take ????? Yes...taking the piss out of fans already paying subscriptions to channels charging PPV for a British title fight...its a decent undercard but it dont warrent being PPV...as i said before the Crolla fight last July had a goo
  14. That the same crusty that told us all when Klitschko postponed that he had jacked and the fight wouldnt happen and that he had money on Klitschko not showing up?!!!

  17. The title was won in the ring...should be lost in the ring...How come the IBF didnt make Rahman fight a mandatory when he won the title off Lewis?...re-match was 6 months later
  18. Think it's decided on the colours.....green and blue very popular. Thats right...Norwich-v-Ipswich...biggest by far...its carnage... Carrots and tractors all over the place!!

  21. or being white and working class...they dont like that either
  22. At least he behaved himself when he went over there to do the job...unlike Chisora who spat on Klitschko and Haye who wore that silly t-shirt with picture of the brothers decapitated...ran like a cur in the ring and made un- sporting pathetic excuses...no the media would welcome those lads to come again...think what the public really want is some black uncle tom that a millionaire can lead by the nose like a prize bull and do and say what hes told to by his PR people
  23. Trevor Mcdonald may have been ok at reading the news off an autoque...but he's rubbish as an interviewer...talks to everyone like they are 5 year olds...for all his failings Tyson is a sharp and witty fella...he just looked bored...
  24. All the talk of Ireland reminds me of a good'un i seen a while back...called 'kill the Irishman'...its a true story of a Cleveland tradeunionist who takes on the Mafia...if you like loads of motors being blown up with pipe bombs...you'll love this!
