  1. One of the better 'days hunting' type threads I've ever read on this site! Really enjoyable and jealous beyond belief, haha.
  2. Whin, lads have been talking about deer and stretching the truth long before Darcy brought his deer book out. Stop tryin to cause shit.
  3. so they all Bruce Lee over that way then?? Just to let you know I'm from a tiny little mining village so I'd be ok.......;-)And no I haven't got a thing for big men...... Sorry!!! No, but as it happens some of the worlds best martial artists have come from Liverpool. The point I think GTE was making was that you'd last 5 minutes in Liverpool if you were throwing your weight around, you'd get shot. I don't work in Liverpool, but make no mistake wherever you work, these days you have to be one diplomatic motherf.ucker to successfully work any door for a long period of time, who wants
  4. Yep fair comment i suppose......still seems a bit of a strong reaction to me though.....and i definately think the big fella saw an easy opportunity to " butch up ".....and took it. He probably did, but lets face it thats just nature. This wasnt intended to be a fair match, no shots below the belt lark was it. When enforcing a bit of law, ya want the enforcer to be johny big bollocks. No body likes it but it ensures the right side is successfull. Nobody likes a bully, but what I saw was right and just.
  5. Nobody likes a bully mate..........if that lad had been 10 years older and a few stone heavier i very much doubt old charlie bronson there would have got out of his seat......its nothing to do with money theres plenty rich folk with a sense of fair play........but from what i know of the banking world theres very little fair about it at all.....maybe that just came out in the fella...or maybe he,s just a bully plain and simple either way a decent sized grown man chucking a kid off a train head first is wrong for something so trivial. We will just have to agree to disagree gnasher, perso
  6. The kids 19 for crying out loud !.....i wish all id been doing at 19 was gobbing off and bunking the train 19 or 90 he thought he was old enough to act a c**t and he learnt a lesson. What you did in your youth is your business gnasher, but when ya take a gamble to cheat the system and get caught I would hope ya take it on the chin with a bit of pride rather than piss and whine that life isnt fair? I'm not pretending to be perfect, thats not the point at all, but if i lie, cheat or poach and get caught I'm man enough to take the consiquences. Too many people in this country moaning
  7. All this big rich banker bully argument I keep hearing, if a 5'9" 150lb 20 year old factory worker had removed the kid would you all still be crying in his defence? The lad was a prick and for once an member of the public stands up and puts his arse on the line and for whats left of british decency and everyone is complaining. Christ this country has changed!
  8. Serves the little shite right. That gobby little prick is the epitome of what is wrong with this island. The big fella just removed him, he wasnt violent. Whether he had the right ticket or not he didnt show the inspector the right ticket so what the f**k did he expect? If he had been respectfull he wouldnt have got the response he did. And so what if the big fella is a banker or has money? He f*****g earnt it, go and cry poverty to some body who gives a shit. Jealousy comes to mind? Yes we have all tried to dodge fair before but if caught we wouldnt be a c**t about it! Its no different to
  9. If thats right, it's not ya gun/carts that need checking but ya fecking eyes fella! LOL
  10. What do you do with badgers? The trap would definitely have to be smaller....hahahahahaha Probably keeps him in shaving brushes while hes completing six months at her Majesty's pleasure! LOL. Doing anything to old Brock over here carries a 6 month prison sentence mate, It's a bit of a joke among hunting people.
  11. Does anyone know of a decent gunsmith that can fix the extractor problem with my Mossberg 500E .410? Nott's, Linc's, Leic's area? Preferably someone experienced with the shotgun in question. Thanks
  12. 5 foot twice in the same morning in loosish earth, no trouble digging with a decent sized round mouth. Only got 2 rabbits that day! lol. Never had a ferret slip it's collar.... (touch wood!) Always worth digging but I have noticed that some people are far to keen to reach for the shovel and locator. One of my pet hates when out ferreting. Give the fert a bit of time....
  13. It will to us. Whatever the rest decide, any conditions laid down in a new treaty will not be applicable to us.. That's my understanding. well they didnt like us much before, gonna f*****g hate us now lol French President Nicolas Sarkozy said he would have preferred a treaty change involving all 27 EU members but "that wasn't possible, given the position of our British friends". Anybody else detect some mild sarcasm? LOL
  14. Politics is a fine balance between doing whats right for the country and doing whats right for your career, which are sometimes mutually exclusive. But equally without having a good career a poltician will never be in a position to do whats right for the country..... Regardless of his motives he made the right decision so I'll give him a "well done" on this occasion but hes gonna have to do alot more to earn respect and trust.
  15. Just read the same article malt. Tbh he knows very well the UK's feelings towards Europe, possibly not so much 'his' line in the sand as 'ours'. Support for Europe must be at an all time low in these Isles, he's already had a hard enough time recently as it is with his decisions on Britains part in Europe, I doubt he wanted the headache of making another pro-Europe decision. Something to appease us all for a bit is what I'm thinking.
  16. Judging by the Fox, they're pretty good! At 4 yards I think the plastic wad would have been sufficient to kill the fox, lol.
  17. I'm sure you have all heard it before but I'll put it up anyway; 'Twas early spring in '48 and hounds were running strong, The rugged hills o'er Kirkstone Pass Re-echoed with their song. Well Reynard knew the fate in store In vain he doubled back, No trick he knew could avail 'Gainst that famed Ullswater pack. But fate that guards o'er man and beast Came to succour him. A cleft stood open in the rocks and Reynard dashed within But once again did fortune frown. Death followed in his wake, For Butcher and Badger they were there To put his life at stake. What happened then
  18. Being born into it just means that the doors are allready open for you and experience is gained much more easily. It doesn't make for a better hunter. Dedication and passion makes a hunting man.
  19. Some of the competative pole dancers really are something. Amazing watching them. A friend of mine used to do classes in Nottingham and she showed me some youtube vids of her instructor competing and they're brilliant. Really athletic yet ellogent, abit like gymnastics. Strangely enough I think her intructor was a sky diver as well! Mad!
  20. If I didnt try to do something then I would have to live with being a gutless coward. Dunno what I would do untill in the situation.
  21. Nothing in Nottingham. There's that snowy weather feeling though, if that makes any sense. Ice cold wind that cuts straight through ya and cloudy.
  22. Can I wear my pink fluffy slippers while team spade it wears rambo bandaners and a knife between there teeth. Cookie Aye, any excuse to get out of having to work the shovel. Unless the slippers have re-enforced hardened soles for the terrierman in touch with his femanine side..... LOL
