Belief in microevolution but not macroevolution........................ right, so what's the difference? Seems a convenient way to allow for an intelligent creator without being ignorant to the observable facts supporting the theory of Evolution. For what it's worth now, my opinion on 'God'; The belief thrives with the absence of knowledge and understanding. People are naturally somewhat scientific and logical in what they believe, we look for reasons to follow a certain line of thought and even have faith, it's never completely blind. All those that have faith in an intelligent creato

Well, it sounds like it's nicked aswell now! I don't like to speculate, but it's probably nicked, written off, cloned, and has loads of finance on it. Maybe. He should probably check the boot too, a pound to a pinch of piss there's a kilo of coke in the tyre well!

You're wrong. To have broken the law you have to have had the beliefe that they were stolen! You may very well have them taken from you but you have absolutely not broken the law! There is no punishment under English law for handling stolen goods that you had no knowledge or beliefe to be stolen. It's in black and white.

Saying that it shouldnt be the responisbility of the new owner "because he brought it in good faith" is daft. The same could be said for stolen cars, if you buy it in good faith you are still breaking the law by purchasing stolen goods and even if you had just paid £15k for the motor, it will be taken off you and no compensation given. Are you sure? To break the law you have to be aware they are stolen goods, buying it in good faith would imply you were not aware. So you're saying if I went to the local carboot and bought a second hand lawnmower for 40 quid that turned out to be nicked

We've one spinney that shoots well but by December is all but dead, it just has NO bottom in it. I've tried to get some bramble in it but that failed. I'm thinking of suggesting laurel but dunno about that really. Similar situation in another spinney, really dense trees covered in ivy, some of these should really be layed to thicken the bottom up and thin the top out a bit. But that's a job I can do with no expense. -
Look, usually I'll not do shit for anybody I don't know as I'm a bit of a heartless f****r. But this story has pulled on my heart a bit so if the lads down on a quickset long net I've got one sitting around doing nothing. I wouldn't mind this lad having it as he sounds fecking distraught and in a bad place so if it cheers the lad up it's costing me nothing so no big deal. I'm in Nottingham, I can't post it or deliver but if you can get it to him he's welcome to it. It's 80m quickset with basket & fiberglass poles, probably wants new grommets though as they'll be a bit perished. I understan

All too common on the smaller DIY syndicates, people not seeing any further ahead than one season. Just enough work to get you through the coming season is fine but with a bit of extra effort and thought with mid to long term plans really does make a difference imo. fecking sad really. Anyway, all the best and let us know how it goes. -
But why should the innocent buyer have to fork out for a £15 check mate..? The way i see it if its sold then you have bought it in good faith and you should be liable for nothing and the original loan should be paid off by the person who took out the agreement. How can they just get away with it and pocket the money for a car they havent paid for? Unreal... Log book loans are loans made against the car not the person so even if the car changes hands the the loan stays with the car. I know you're right Paulus, but that whole concept seems ridiculous! So the debt is always with the

Right everyone, save another daft question the morra lol, you can answer the above question from marshman Experience Medievel hunting, hunting stags, boar and wolves with hounds of all descriptions. See some beasts long extinct for millions of years. Visit ancient cultures, Egypt, Babylon, Rome, Greece, Briton, Mesoamerica (Maya etc). Watch the Nuclear testing durring the Cold war.

Another money saver durring the hard times eh?

These be the same tribes that hang people for being witches, practice paedophilia and their babies die from dysentery, TB and cholera? Yeah, I'd love to part of that world. I get ya point mate but technology and knowledge didn't hurt a damn sole, selfish, greedy immoral leaders do though, with technology or without.

Some nice sets. I always thought it'd be good to have a thread pinned that everyone could add pictures of different trap sets to, fenns, BGs, cage traps, snare sets etc etc. Conventional stuff as well as more ingenius stuff to overcome unique problems. Even just a load of pictures of different natural and man made tunnels would be interesting.

You've been thinking about this for a while eh mate Nah, in all probability I'd take like a trillion kg's of gold and diamonds................... but I've always fancied myself as a bit of a Columbus or Captain Cook! After reading your answer, I see you more as the captain out of the village people Dunno who they are?........... probably before my time grandad. If it's because i said gold and diamonds and not money, I'd prefer my money invested in something secure.......... not in a bank.

Then we could convert them into real people and rape and pillage their world like we have done everywhere before ,f**k that i'd wish for the civilized folk of the world to dissapear and leave it to the tribes who haven't messed it up with technology . Nah, still prefer my wish. And how can you mess something up with technology. Politicians and Business men mess things up, Scientists and Engineers just invent usefull stuff.

FFS.......ive changed ma wish to not letting you be a boring c**t!!.... Well, when I get my superpower, you're f****d!
-
Completely selfish, but mine would be to be the one who discovered/explored a new world. Like the explorers of old, discovering new continents and mapping out and documenting lands never visited by man. Immortalised in history and academia....... Failing that, a superpower would be pretty cool.

Apparently I talk in my sleep too. It's never woken me up though. I'm told I have chats with people - say my bit - leave a gap for them to reply - then carry on. My most recent one is saying "to someone" - "Oh yes. Jack must be about 70 now. Used to drive lorries, but got one stuck under a bridge. Serves him right for not having his blood pressure taken." All this while sitting upright in bed with my eyes open! That would freak me out if i saw someone else doing it. I used to do that when i was younger....alot. Also used to run downstairs and watch the tv, but it wasnt switched

Never had trouble sleeping................. getting up on the other hand............. LOL I'm a f****r for sleep talking, I'll have full blown conversations with people while I'm fast asleep. The other night I had to feed the penguins a brisket apparently, found it very funny too, laughing in my sleep.

Queens Speech Immigration Looks Like Shes Concerned
Born Hunter replied to keepitcovert's topic in General Talk
On the hunting act repeal; Cameron promised a free vote in parliment, not a straight forward repeal...... just pointing out facts. We might think he's a u-turning limp wristed fecker but that's no reason to judge the man unfairly.
