I'm sure this is one we all suffer with, looking in fields while driving! Nearly been the death of me more than once and has given me an aweful reputation as a bad driver, lol. Only wierd one is having to cover up things I don't like when eating. I mean, I don't HAVE to but just irritates the hell out of me if I can see it. Loose buttons on the table will do that to me. Completely fecking wierd. It's not a phobia just irritates me.

Mal, If I have read this thread right? What you have there is micro evolution and most are in agreement that it happens. With respect, all science is theory. At any time something could be observed which completely fecks up any part of science. I agree 100%, so how can someone quote a scientific hypothesis and use it to prove the existence or non existence of a supreme being? TC You can't! Basing an argument for or against God on Science and logic is pointless! Completely pointless.

How patronising you are, Science is entirely what people believe! Science is educated and logical beliefs based on observations. Just because a theory is difficult to test rigorously doesn't make it any less scientific. Gravity is accepted as fact by every sane person, yet I have no way of proving how it works, none. I can't observe any force carrying partical for gravity or any other mechanism to explain the force. So what....... gravity doesn't exist? TFM, I read that and although it's interesting it's sure as hell not proof that evolution is false.......... What the author implies as impossible is actually just statistically unlikely. But then statistics are funny old things......... Also, if I understood it correctly, It completely ignores other mechanisms of evolution and focusses entirely on natural selection. I dunno wheather I like it or not but my bitch will see beast off in no uncertain terms. She doesn't want bother with them but if they want to get too close and give her the eye she knows that a quick charge and a few snaps to the face will send them bucking away. Personally, most people that know me know I shoot/hunt and I don't think I've ever met anybody that had a serious problem with me owning guns. Most are interested by it, especially folk that hardly leave the inner city, their only association with guns is on the wrong side of the law so tend to have huge respect for legal gun owners and sporting shooters.
