  1. The reply box has no font etc option or smilies and yesterday when I was replying all sorts of wierd underlining of random words was going on.
  2. I know a pensioner is dead but that's really made me laugh, in a very shamefull morbid way of course.
  3. I'm sure there was plenty of bad Walshie. Poor healthcare, poverty, work safety conditions, the justice system (I wonder how many people convicted were really guilty and how many guilty ran free due to piss poor forensic science?), many relatives dead in the aftermath of WWI, WWII only a matter of years away. Rose tinted glasses and all that... Quit de-rosing my specs! Were spectacles invented by the 1920's?

  5. Voted, dunno what ya complaining about though? My garden resembles 1940's Stalingrad!
  6. When I still lived with my folks I was rushing like a twat one morning to go ferreting, loading the van up and typically in a sleep deprived bad mood.......... Could I find my keys? Could I feck! I turned the van out....... the house....... rushing about accusing somebody of 'tidying up shit that isn't theirs!", shouting at anybody that dare question me.......... then my mum found them on top of my van! I'd put them there while loading it.
  7. At least I know I will have plenty of space at the fishing comp, they will all be going "dont get too close to him, that God botherer will bore the pants off you!!" Wasn't Jesus a fisherman? Bank a few of those Trent barbel and you might have the lot of them praying!
  8. WILF, I can't dissagree with that. It's spot on. I'm a firm atheist so the "there something more than us kicking about" bit I obviously don't believe but the rest is very sensible to my mind. I'd hope I would not poke fun in another mans faith unprovoked.

    Shocking

Who's the b*****d that used to be on here that ran Pubs? Wasn't he a member of a white peado gang?
  10. I'd hazzard a guess the shot was taken from a hell of a distance so the energy would be severly diminished to a non lethal level. Is it a standard lead core brass jacketed bullet? Would all AK bullet types fragment if shot through say a sand bag or similar? Just wondering if it's possible it passed through a reasonably dense medium first taking out the 'sting'.
  11. Be a b*****d if you got bad hay fever too.
  12. Now look you f****r, don't start on me and my desire to big game hunt again! Just because L1s giving you grief!
  13. By the sounds of it, the big budgies days are numbered! Lurchermen up and down the country are after it now!
  14. I understand antifreeze is a grim way to go....... But you have your solution, they're accepted as ferral and that's from the horses mouth so to speak. If that was the situation in my garden I'd be trapping and shooting every last one I could! It's legal in this case but it still pays to have discretion. My garden on the other hand is covered in cat shit and I believe they are all 'pets'........... so legally culling them isn't an option. What the dogs catch though can't be helped.
  15. Have a skim through the terrier section.......... see what 'proper' terriers look like........... then compare that to what the kc have produced.......... Compare a working russel or fell to that fox terrier featured on your website. With all due respect, the kc can bring out whatever spangly data base they want, it's not gonna fix the damage they have done and encourage to the islands great little dogs!
  16. They're all nice but that dog of yours Tiny is a cracker! My sort of lurcher that.
  17. And yet he's putting in his best performances of his life as of late? I know they all do but he genuinely believes he's in the best physical shape of his life. It's not in his prefered Nottingham but the support he will still get in london will be immense. I'm looking forward to the weekend! watched him train today -- you goin ? I wish! Will you be there Stig? Gnash hasn't been on in a while. I imagine he'll be following this fight. yes mate 11 of us going they seem to think we can get down late park up walk in and watch the fight ........ I imagine the atmosp

  20. Science is entirely theory! If you don't understand that then you clearly have little experience or understanding of science. Hypotheses compete to become the accepted theory to explain the observations. Both may be valid but one holds more weight than the other and is accepted. Just because we believe in one over the other doesn't mean the other may not in time be proven correct! For example, we once believed Newtonian mechanics explained gravity.... We believed this to be fact! Then planetary orbits were calculated and unexplainable by newtons theory. What we believed was naive and wrong. Ge
  21. I think we've mentioned this before but I'm exactly the same. Mates piss themselves watching me wracking my mind for the name. I'll have to phone somebody if I can't get to a computer.
  22. If a branch falls in a wood but nobody is there to hear it, did it really make a sound????? "Whoa duuuuuude......... that's deep shit!"
  23. I'm sure this is one we all suffer with, looking in fields while driving! Nearly been the death of me more than once and has given me an aweful reputation as a bad driver, lol. Only wierd one is having to cover up things I don't like when eating. I mean, I don't HAVE to but just irritates the hell out of me if I can see it. Loose buttons on the table will do that to me. Completely fecking wierd. It's not a phobia just irritates me.
  24. Some are obvious, because they want to be that way. But if you believe the statistics that 10% are gay, I can certainly not tell 1 in 10 people I meet are gay, nowhere near. What puzzles me is why are there so many more gay men than lesbians? Where did you get those stats from? In the 2011 UK Census; • 1.1 per cent of the surveyed UK population, approximately 545,000 adults, identified themselves as Gay or Lesbian, • 0.4 per cent of the surveyed UK population, approximately 220,000 adults, identified themselves as Bisexual, • 0.3 per cent identified themselves as ‘Other’,
  25. Something I've just nicked off of wiki; The term "macroevolution" frequently arises within the context of the evolution/creation debate, usually used by creationists alleging a significant difference between the evolutionary changes observed in field and laboratory studies and the larger scale macroevolutionary changes that scientists believe to have taken thousands or millions of years to occur. They accept that evolutionary change is possible within what they call "kinds" ("microevolution"), but deny that one "kind" can evolve into another ("macroevolution"). Contrary to this belief amon
