That's not evolution. Evolution theory explains what happens after life has formed, not how life forms. Yeah after the big bang, ok born what are we gona call it darwinian evoloution then? You're confusing the evolution of the Universe, otherwise known as cosmology, with the evolution of life. The term Evolution is most commonly referring to evolution of life, speciation, common descent etc, not the big bang or space. And again, it does not cover how life came into existence, just how it changes and adapts. Thats why its a slippy term, it has to be defined beforehand, evoloution actually

Flairball, whats the success rate on a bird hunt like with a spaniel compared to a pointer type in the US? Over here the spaniel is the 'go to' all round shooting dog for either driven or walked up I would say. In the past I have wondered how much work there would be for a spaniel man who emigrated from the UK to the US.

If I can get a medium sized regular coffee, cake/cookie and a Shooting Times for less than a tenner I'm happy enough. If I can upset a animal rights warrior hipster type with my Shooting Times in the coffee shop then I consider a tenner a bargain. No idea what tea should cost.

Child Grooming Gang In Newcastle 18 Convicted.
Born Hunter replied to mackem's topic in General Talk
The informant in question was paid £10,000 to act as an undercover informant, money well spent? For them convictions yes, should a previous convicted child molester be rewarded not a chance, he should have been told "you're lucky to still be alive, so you're going under cover or under the ground your choice". That's just fantasy though mate. That wont happen in a liberal democracy. I'm just accepting that and accepting that sometimes rewarding evil men to punish a lot more evil men is a net positive. -
Child Grooming Gang In Newcastle 18 Convicted.
Born Hunter replied to mackem's topic in General Talk
There's a bit of outrage that Plod used a convicted sex offender, Mr XY, as a tax payer paid undercover intelligence source. As on the other threads about paedo's, my take is that if it gets results then I can stomach it. The safety of children comes before my own hatred of paedo's. -

What if the undead kill Bron! The whole job will be f****d then! Bron is some boy! I think people's hunch about deanerys loosing the plot are about right she's got a taste for it now She's got progressively more tyrannical imo. I can't decide if she is just evolving into an experienced leader or if she is losing the heart and compassion she showed while in Essos. She acts like a right hard ballin bitch with Jon and then gives a little and shows a bit of compassion. She's shown a fiery side plenty before, just now she seems more hell bent on victory than the freedom of the people.

No they are not! Your own link states that you are wrong quite clearly!

Did you even read your own link? It says the opposite! And Gary Schoener, a clinical psychologist who has been diagnosing and treating clergy abuse for 28 years, told Salon.com, “There are far more heterosexual cases than homosexual.” In terms of sheer numbers, that may be true. But in terms of numbers of children abused per offender, homosexuals abuse with far greater frequency; and boys, research shows, are the much-preferred target. That's without me even interrogating the validity of the source!

Just gonna throw this in here.... twins are not genetic identical and unborn baby's are subject to environmental stimuli like they are after birth, so only assessing genetics to determine whether a trait/behaviour is determined before birth is inherently flawed. And that's me out of this, LOL.

f***ing EPIC! I was buzzing off of the children of the forest bit and then Arrya's bad ass demo but the finally was something else. I was really glad to see Arrya get that in, for seasons her story has been a bit shit and now all that stuff that made her my favourite in season 1 is coming out.

A gudgeon too. Took me ages to finally catch my first fish, I remember the disheartening feeling of failure for a little kid. Didn't take me long to learn that those little gudgeon easily caught on maggot sent the perch wild......

Take a coat. I was in Evanston, in June, and it snowed! I've got a hand me down bow that I'm learning on. I want to shoot traditional for a while before I even attempt a compound. I know the weights are lower, and they're much more difficult but it's a skillset that fascinates me. That'd suit me, I like a log fire.... in June. LOL I took my rig over to a mate's on Saturday now I have all the bits bolted on and roughly set up. He's shot all sorts of trad' bows for years, makes his own arrows etc. Anyway after a coffee we went off to flick a few arrows. Shooting a compo

Honestly don't think I have a hero or idol etc but a few folks off the top of my head I have been impressed by. Theodore Roosevelt, his attitude, values, toughness and outdoorsman life really resonate with me. Any SBS swimmer canoeist, I find their capability in water utterly astounding. Maximum bad-assery! Recently a chap called Paul Schaffer, an American bow Hunter who frankly sounds mythical. Josh James the kiwi bushman, just seems a sound fella who lives the life.

I wouldn't like to say there has never been and never is waste in the game shooting industry, however to say the birds that Botham is saying he will use for free meals are wasted is bullshit. They're not waste, but they do have a low market value, which makes using them for charity very cost effective in addition to healthy and nutritional. The game shooting industry produces thousands of head of pheasant, partridge and mallard every year, of which a percentage is taken by those directly involved with the day and the rest sold at generally a low price to game dealers. To say there is never

Apparently they're called Hazzards.... How the f**k did the journo not fit that one into the article!
-
I just read that too. They reckon they could be breeding and even cross-breeding with buzzards. I didn't know that was possible. I've seen an escapee years ago, never a breeding population though! Both members of the Acciptridae family so on the face of it a possibility. Less likely the offspring would be fertile though.
-
Just read this and they reckon it was a feral Harris Hawk now. Apparently they are established over here now and are also crossbreeding with native buzzards too. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/08/03/escaped-harris-hawks-attacking-runners-walkers-prompting-fears/ Of course matey could be saying that to take the heat off of his precious Buzzards.....

Merlin archery? And the only good thing to come out of Nottingham is the A52 to Derby, lol. Let's be right, the A52 doesn't go anywhere good either East or West out of Nottingham! Except one village Villages not included. I like Bingham quite a lot too.
