Haven't the new D-Max only got 1900s now? VW only got 2.0 too. All the others are barely bigger than 2.0. Just the way they are these days with emissions targets etc. I'm like you though, anything less than 2.5 just seems too small....... regardless of performance.

Well obviously the 5 yr porridge and 10k fine makes being naughty in the UK a no no. The less said about that, from those who would/do, the better. "Pre ban Your Honour?". LOL Yeah, one day I'll go abroad on a 'big' game hunt but that's not the sort of thing I'll be able to afford very often. Spot and stalk antelope in the US West would be great. It'd be difficult to go on such an adventure and not take my rifle though... I'm not quite sure where my bow fits in the range really, I would say it's a lower end model of a premium brand. You don't have to explain financial dilemmas too

Did you buy secondhand in the end mate?I just found out last week I have a bow shop reasonably close by, which I was quite excited about & my wife looked excited too....albeit through gritted teeth! Haha.... The online reviews look very good, infact one guy said "they'd rather die, than not sell you something....." Working in a Curry's warehouse was totally depressing. I quit before the induction had finished. ....I got that, but perhaps I could have worded my reply better! As a matter of interest do you know the actual size of the parent cartridge case, would it take a .22 or even .25? Apparently it's out of a 27 cal nail gun blank, so I guess so. I really haven't given this that much thought tbh, lol. -
For the sake of accuracy, I'm saying I want to see the 17wsm necked up for a 22 and commercially produced with a semi auto platform. A 22wsm if you will. I'm not saying that there currently is a 22wsm.

Unless something has changed the Semi Auto loophole only applies to .22Rimfires, hence why we never had the HMR semi in this country (during its short lifetime). Either Jon or Daenerys, but not together. I reckon one of them will die in some tragic twist making it all bitter sweet. Maybe Jon dies but then it's found out that Daenerys is carrying his kid, the start of the second Targaryen dynasty. The biggest game I've hunted is fallow buck, which is decidedly 'medium game' in comparison! LOL Given the opportunity I'd love to hunt Cape Buffalo with rifle and Leopard with hounds in Africa and Bear, Elk and Sheep with bow in the N.America. Please share more, Savanna! Very few big game hunters frequent this corner of the internet.
