Personally I think most people don't have a problem with contributing to a government if it's fair and they can see value for money. But I'm sorry, 61/2 months of your labour every year to make your life worse is madness any way you cut it. I have a simple way of looking at things, if a builder came to your house every five years and relieved you of 2.5 years wages and then f****d the whole job up.......came back after another 5 years, and did the same again for the rest of your life you would rightly be considered a f***ing idiot for keep employing the builder and keep giving him half yo

I don't,I'm fairly sure i could if I was free and single. The point is paying into this system is nothing to be proud of imo. I know you don't, just hypothetical. I don't think it's necessarily something to be proud of or ashamed of. Independence and responsibility are things to be proud of imo! Taxation is necessary for government and unless you are an An-Cap or Commy (I think?) then some form of government is a necessity. If we maintain the view that it's justified to avoid taxation because we don't agree with the democratically elected laws or enforcement of those laws the

True, but I don't think Fuel or road tax'd be a problem on the dole. I reckon I could easily enough become a net negative. Hey, if you want to live on Welfare then crack on fella. I mean personally I'd see you and your family in a hostel being sent out to work for the council at the absolute bare minimum cost to society but under our current system you'd be treated better than that I'm sure.

Anybody that was 'a bit different' just found their own crowd. If you're different and try to force your way into the mainstream then you're going to get a hard time for it. That's life! I personally think education is good. You can't be 'infected' with understanding. What concerns me with all this progressiveness is that it's often 'educating' people to have a proscribed opinion, not on the facts.

Great if your self employed, but most haven't got the choice if they are employed. Not to mention you get taxed in more ways than income and NI. VAT, fuel duty, road tax, insurance tax, inheritance, council, stamp duty.

You can always be relied on for a sensible reply I'd agree it's just an attention grabbing headline/soundbite but the story behind it is very real, this leadership election is very much a battle for UKIP's future and will decide whether they go back to their roots as a true libertarian party or go down the route of the likes of the BNP being hardcore nationalists with more authoritarian social policy and left leaning economic policy. I could see them winning more votes in some areas with that platform but the question is whether those gains would offset losing their traditional libertari

I'm not a UKIP member, though I did vote for them in the last election. I think it's true enough that UKIP have the option, and among some perhaps the desire, to pursue a harder right social stance with the collapse of the BNP. UKIP used to be the place for libertarian elements of the Tory party but in the last 5 or more years have tried to capitalise on what you might call the old fashioned working class/nationalist sentiments, less of a concern with economic and classical freedom and greater concern with restricting minority rights and immigration. The concern that UKIP will solidify on

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/09/12/coo-dunnit-police-probe-reports-blatant-pigeon-eating-town-centre/ PCSO Giles added that geese and swans had reportedly been previously captured by the River Exe by a group of street drinkers. She said: "They have money to spend on booze, so they have the money to buy food. Many are alcoholics, [who] to keep a certain consumption level, will drink continuously. "It turns into group, then a bigger, now we’re eating pigeons, now we’re killing seagulls. It escalates."

No it was a fair enough point. What I said was a bit ambiguous.

That's what I meant by blindsided, just didn't see it as a realistic threat and so didn't take necessary measures. We all know there are bad folks with guns out on the streets but most of us don't wear a vest as a precaution, lol. If I stepped out my house and got plugged, id consider that something of a suprise/blindsided.

911 completely blindsided the US. Since then they have become so much wiser. They have also spent 16 years pursuing and degrading that particular enemy. Anywhere they have found alqaeda they have attacked them! Alqaeda carried out 911. Their objective is different to IS who at least inspire much of what we see now. Alqaeda wanted to hurt the US government by attacking the economy, democracy and military as a means of forcing them out of the ME. IS don't even try to do that, they just want to spread their radicalism and terrorise those that stand in their way. I don't think it's difficu

I hadn't heard of that one but Op Northwoods is a commonly known one with the objective of achieving the same. It was eventually kiboshed by Kennedy himself which shows how far it got through the government! I can't help but feel though that these things just don't remain a secret. If they were that concerned about such things to illegally cover their tracks then why didn't they with Northwoods? And let's not forget that these historical examples were tiny in scope in comparison to 911. I think that people fall into one of too extremes with their attitude to government. They are either

From Blaise' ongoing terrier work thread I am led to believe that the French Department responsible for rural affairs will ask the hunt clubs to aid in culling in a similar way, though for disease control reasons. Likewise the kiwi Department of Conservation use sportsman to control invasive species in their national parks in addition to their own more controversial efforts using 1080. I really think it's great. Sportsman acting as free (and often financially contributing!) expertise in government conservation and management goals.

A colleague sent me this. Sounds a good opportunity and I applaud the US authorities for using sportsman to achieve conservation goals. In the UK any such job would almost certainly be carried out by contractors.

My Hunting Set Up For This Year...pic Heavy Warning
Born Hunter replied to Ted Newgent's topic in Big Game Hunting
I'd be interested to have a look if you wouldn't mind telling me what to look for It's easy enough. Download Instagram from the app store on your phone or tablet (or both). Set up an account. Then search for the people you want to follow and hit 'follow' on their account page. Then every time they post a picture it will be shown on your Feed page and basically you scroll through your feed to see all the new pictures and videos posted. You can like and or comment on them and also post your own for your followers to see if you want to bother doing that. It's not like facebook or whatever -

Is there a link to follow this chap born ??? Sorry mate, it's on Instagram. I assume you're not on that? Though I would definitely suggest you download the app and join (if you do I can suggest a load of folks to follow to get you started). I don't know if he has any other forms of social media like a website or whatever. -
Jacob's explanation, why in our parliamentary system the personal beliefs of the PM on homosexuality are almost totally inconsequential, will be lost on 99% of people who choose their politicians the same way they choose who they want to win Big Brother. i don't share his personal opinion on this matter, but I see no reason why it would affect his ability to lead the executive government. In fact his principled nature on separating personal and political and refusal to play the demagogue only reinforces that to me.

The south-west corner was missing. There's tons of pictorial evidence of the debris from flight 77. Loads of pictorial evedence of a plane but where the footage lol one of the most secure buildings in America and no cctv footage ???? There is! But it's not clear. Convenient you might say......... not at all. Why would the Pentagon need security cameras capable of capturing clear images of an object travelling at over 500mph within the grounds?

Please do keep contributing. It's ambush hunting, which is still hunting. I personally prefer spot and stalk but I don't consider sitting out in a likely spot a lesser method. For me the most rewarding hunting is when I have done my homework and an intelligent approach pays off, the day of the kill may be the easiest part but it's rewarding nonetheless. Hours and hours spent contemplating my next session in the field and if baiting might get me a result then baiting will be used. What will extraction be like. I assume you have ATV access? I'm following the daily updates of an Aussi -
The south-west corner was missing. There's tons of pictorial evidence of the debris from flight 77. The hole on the side of the Pentagon was tiny compared to the twin towers damage, plus have you seen the one camera they had on it? No sign of a plane? Just an explosion. Well I've just watched it again and you can definitely see a projectile. The frame rate and resolution are too poor to identify it. None of the conspiracies make any sense. For instance the whole Pentagon attack. So there are a couple of things that don't 'seem' plausible that therefore add weight to a conspira

So you were naughty when you were younger but have spent the last 15 years keeping your nose clean and being a responsible adult? None of it led to any significant time in HMP? Knowing nothing else about your character and assuming the best of you I would say you should be granted a certificate.

I've got loads of photos and videos, here's a few.

If this thread ain't a poster for the UK/US relationship I don't know what is. We start off slagging each other and then find common ground in slagging the French!
