    Possibly my favorite actor, liked him in Fisher King. Evidently he topped himself because he was skint and about to be made bankrupt. How the hell could he be skint, yes, he had two costly divorces, but he must have made many millions from his films and stage shows, where the hell did all his money go ?

    Well, it looks like I ruffled a few feathers with my comments about your pup; but that is exactly what it is, A PUP!! As I have said, it's a good looking pup, with plenty puppy fat, and needs a lot of conditioning if it is to shine this season. Being a pup, it will have many more seasons to prove its self. Good luck with it, I hope it turns out a winner.

    OK mate, wasn't having a go, but that first pic, there is no condition on the dog. That's not saying it looks bad, just the opposite, it looks like a well fed pup, but if it is to be ready for this season, it needs a lot of conditioning. All the best with it, I hope it turns out a winner.

    Not wishing to upset anyone, but that pup looks exactly like a pup ! No muscle, no definition, just a nice looking pup ! If it's going to be ready for the season, say September, October, it's needs a lot of work on its conditioning. I hope it turns out well for you, but going by those photos, it looks very immature.

    God Save The King/Queen probably WAS the English National Anthem in the 1700's. It certainly was NOT supported by the Scots when it included the verse; Lord, grant that Marshal Wade May by thy mighty aid Victory bring May he sedition hush And like a torrent rush Rebellious Scots to crush God Save The King. A Verse no longer recognised or sung.

    I was under the impression Farage meant that MPs should be paid a flat wage, about the same as a school headmaster, and the expenses and second home allowance would be scrapped. So if they got a 50% rise but lost all the "extras", it would work out cheaper for the country. You don't have to agree with everything Farage says, but you have to admire him for giving a straight answer, unlike Cameron, Clegg, Miliband and the rest of them.

    What do you mean "don't have the facility to feed barf" ? All you need is a freezer or a local butcher that can supply daily. Barf is far better than any complete food.

    All honey has medicinal properties , but Manuka honey has been proven to be the best, but even Manuka honey comes in different grades, and the best grades can be VERY expensive. It can be used topically for cuts, infections, etc, and internally for general well being for humans and animals. The best grades have been counterfeited, so only buy from a reputable dealer.

    I wasn't saying ring the RSPCA; Socks did the right thing, but ends up out of pocket ! I said the "correct" thing to do would be ring the police and RSPCA, "correct" in what this litagious mad country expects you to do !! What if it had been a kid ? The obvious thing to do is break the window, but at the moment the law doesn't look at it that way. BUT the government is trying to bring out a "Hero's Law", where you can't be done for breaking some law in pursuit of the greater good. I won't hold my breath.

    You did the sensible and right thing; but the "correct" thing to do would have been to 'phone the police and the RSPCA. As usual, the wrong person is punished, whereas the purportrator walks free.............

    Us old guy's are often accused of living in the past, looking at the world through rose tinted glasses, etc. But with boxing, today's pretenders are a pale shadow of the glory days when there were many great contenders in every weight class. The heavies of the 60's and 70's, my era, were a sight to behold, as were the middles and welters, today there is maybe one or two in each weight group that stand out.

    One thing for sure; not one of today's boxers would have lived with the greats of yesteryear , no matter what weight category .

    With five different crosses in it, it could be anything from a 30" rough coated, to a 20" smooth coated ! My guess, and it's only a guess, it will probably be small and smooth coated, because of the amount of whippet in it.

    America and the Iranian airliner ? Russia and the Korean airliner ? Whoever it was and the Pan Am airliner ? This one will go the same way as all the others, no one will really take the blame and the conspiracy theories will start.

    Surface to air missiles can be as sophisticated as you like... The Aster 30 for instance has a range of 120km. Yeah, I should have said hand held, or shoulder mounted SAM.
