You got the government you voted for , for 13 years, a Labour government! They would never get in without the Scottish vote ! At least if you vote yes, we' ll never see a socialist government in England ever again.

Think you missed the point...You're a yesser, your challenge was to come up with 3 negatives of a yes or 3 positives on a no But you only managed one positive of a yes, Again says it all..... Lab, 1...Control over our own Destiny 2...Be a rich country and put an end to poverty. 3...Stay out of wars That's 3. This is the bit where you tell me I'm wrong and can't prove it....lol Lab, putting and end to poverty and being a rich country, yes, a noble thought, but don't you think this is what EVERY country wants ? How do you think Scotland will achieve this when every country in the world

Lol so you think with catalunya so near their vote that Spain isn't going to use it's veto?? Or UK??? You couldn't make this hopeful shite up! You have been told catagorically no pound, big business moving south, supermarket price rises and you still follow the moronic salmond line of it's a bluff???LMFAO! you guys are like the no campain, cant agree on anything Joe, to some of us, especially in England, there is no "yes" or "no"; we simply want the best for the UK. If all goes well with the seperation; GOOD, if there's no seperation we need to have a massive shake up in politics

Joe, you keep telling me to read the reports....perhaps you should aswell ! Why is Salmond demanding an inquiry into the release of the statement, before the vote, if it's not true ? are we moving onto something else again? Not in the least; I've asked you this question numorous times, but you don't give an answer. Why is Salmond so angry the news came out before the vote ? Doe's he not want the Scottish people to know all the facts ? bbc reported that a tresury source talked about it with the rbs its said, tresury officals or other ministers are not allowed to lea

Lab, I'm giving MY views; Joe simple cuts and pastes a reply. Why won't he give HIS take on the reason Salmond didn't want the Scottish people knowing that RBS will relocate vast tracts of it's business south of the border if there's a "yes" vote ? I'm open minded about the vote, but I'd like all my Scots relatives, friends and aquaintences to know ALL the facts BEFORE the vote, rather than after, wouldn't you ??? face palm, i give up replying to your posts mate, if you would put the same effort into reading/replying as i have with you then you might be suprised, if your truly open

To me, the plusses are Scotland will , if the "yes" vote wins; have full control of their finances and spending and taxation, of course it will be allowed into the EU, as part of the EU's expansion plans. This will probably mean joining the euro and the Shcengen Area as pre-requisites to being accepted. Scotland seems far more pro european than the rest of the UK, so it may be just what they want. The minusses are they will be swapping one union for another, and may find that Brussells is making more rules, laws and regulations than Westminster ever did. Keeping the pound without monetary uni

Joe, you cherry pick the reports to suit your argument; I read and evaluate both sides of the debate. Which ever is right or wrong, the Scottish people deserve to hear ALL the facts. Once again, why is Salmond demanding an inquiry into the RBS news being released before the vote. Why does he not want the Scottish people to hear the bad, as well as the good news ??? do you really, just read your post about rbs, standard life, tesco, morrisons etc am off out you and a few others fav guy watch and listen, good points!!! Joe, when you have no answer to a question, (lik

Good old scare storys and biased media to win a vote, this will probaly happen probaly everyday until the 18th The rbs letter says ( not the bbc ) tesco etc comfirmed that was shite, didnt you read one of my earlier posts about that Remember when standard life threatend to do the same in 1997 did they do it? They have made plans just incase More businesses have said today they will be "making plans just in case"........ What about Shell and BP,Joe, are they lying, or is Salmond ? did you read everything in my post? what about bp, they

Not looking so rosy now, Joe; The heads of Shell and BP say Salmond is lying about oil and gas reserves. Scotlands famous institutions, Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows, (as well as other banks, insurance companies and financial institutions) say they will relocate to England. Major supermarkets like Tescos and Sainsburys say prices in Scotland will rise as delivery and supply prices are currently evened out across the UK, but an independent Scotland would pay higher costs. Todays polls show a "no" lead of around 6 %........ people are now realising the cost of indepe

its good to see polls close, they say that poll is the highest survation poll yet, for yes.. cant really go on polls, just need to look back a few years with the snp, no one expected a win, never mind a majority..squeeky bum time lol I'm not a great believer in polls, for the simple reason, in my many years on this earth, no one has EVER polled me ! Not in person, on the phone or any other way, in fact none of my family have ever been polled as far as I know ! I think polls are made up by different sides simply to try and sway the undecided. It would be interesting to ask the 45000 members o

IF Scotland votes "yes", then I hope it will be 100% independence , but it's not a forgone conclusion, as today's polls put it slightly in favour of the "no" vote. If Scotland DOES vote "yes" then I hope the future governments of rUK treat Scotland as a completely foreign country and don't leap in to bail out any future difficulties, as we did with the Irish banking crisis. Now, I hate Cameron with a passion, but today he was right when he said this is not a general election, where the Scots could give the Tories a f...cking kicking, and have another vote in five years time..... This is foreve

No mate, there are 650 MPs and at least 1000 Lords, either hereditary or life peers. I respect both Andrew and Harry for there military service, but they would most certainly not have been put in harms way simply because of the propaganda value to the enemy. Probably the last royal to see real active service, and he wasn't one of our royals at the time, was Phillip, when he was in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. The only members of the immediate royal family who deserve to wear medals are Philip, Andrew and Harry, who have actually served in combat zones. The likes of Ch

Max, are you pissed ? There are 650 MPs and well over 1000 members of the House of Lords. Whenever a member of the Royal Family has been in a combat situation, there have probably been a hundred, at least, regulars protecting them ! I admire your patriotism , but you do get a bit excited, LOL !

Well, whatever we English, Welsh, Northern Irish say, you Scots will make your own minds up. By God, I hope you make the right decision, because it will be the most important decision any of you will ever make....... Your futures, your children's and grandchildrens futures are at stake. Remember, there will be no coming back if you make the wrong decision.

Well that's not how I read it. Potential is unbelievable. If we don't try we will regret it. What part of that do you not read ? The first part is fact.... The part about Salmond is rhetoric on my part, I'll admit that, but I still think he is wrong and is not the Scottish Messiah, he will destroy Scotland by turning it into a European backwater that will eventually be ruled by Brussels. Why would you give up being part of a United Kingdom, just to be ruled by unelected bureaucrats from Europe ? The UK is in this position at the moment, but hopefully if we support UKIP, and even if they don'

Lab; richest by being part of the fourth or fifth best economy in the world. A Union that has a permenent seat on the UN Security Council , a union that is a major member of the G7/8....... Scotland is part of the UK; why give that up because Salmond wants to be The Last Emporer Of Scotland ? ?
-
Free Tennents Lager, Buckies and Irn Bru for everybody!! Have you heard yourself, Joe ? How is this Socialist Utopia going to be paid for ? Well, Salmond wants to flood Scotland with immigrants to raise the tax base to pay for it all, but once again, I,ll ask you; where are these immigrants going to come from ? Bulgaria, Rumania, Latvia ? I fear for Scotland.

A big worry for me, and it is a BIG worry, if Scotland votes "yes" and a few years down the line it all goes wrong, the rUK will feel duty bound to bail them out, just as we did for Eire when their economy and banking system went tit's up ! The UK had NO responsibility, other than being a member of the EU to bail out Ireland, but we did, above and beyond what the EU did, simply because of our shared history !! If Scotland decides to go it alone, well, I wish them luck, but I will fight tooth and nail to make sure they are independant from rUK and will fight against any bail out's that may or

Basically, "shit happens" !! If this was not on her property, and your dogs were not running about unsupervised, then you have nothing to worry about. Morally ? Apologise, and that's it. Police could get involved, but most police haven't a clue about situations like this; it doesn't matter if they are hunting dogs or chihuahua's, if your account is true; you have done nothing wrong.

Steve, you should read a bit of history; England never overran Scotland 300 years ago. What really happened was Scotland had a disastorous foray into trying to start an empire in Central America and brought Scotland to the brink of bankruptcy. They then asked for the union with England to save themselves and their country. There is a lot that went on in the past that 95% of Scots don't know about, and Salmond sure isn't going to tell them the truth about the past........or the future.
