Lord Hanningfeild has just been found guilty of fiddling his expenses, £3300. He will not be charged by the police; his case will go before a committee of fellow Lords. The worst he can expect is to be banned from the Lords until the next election, and then he will return as he is a "Life Peer". He has form for this, as he was jailed for NINE WEEKS for fiddling £28000!! He went straight back to the Lords and the money trough when he came out of jail. I'm glad City won the Premiership; it would have been a disgrace if Liverpool had won it thanks to a corrupt ref !!!! Newcastle's Ameobi sent off for dissent and Dummet getting a straight red for an innocuous tackle near the halfway line! Both these reds will be appealed and probably overturned.

They are going to change our language and lifestyle little by little until we are afraid to speak. I wouldn't normally call a black person a nigger, but didn't some old woman who was asked to describe her postman, and said he was a "coloured man", get boycotted by the post office, as the said it was a racist statement ? Are we still allowed to call black people "black" ? This is the problem, first it's nigger that's banned, then coloured, then black !! Where doe's it stop ?

Yeah, it's a fake. Just watched him on Sunday Politics; Andrew Neil ripped Labours Douggie Alexander a new arse, but couldn't do anything with Farage. Everything he threw at him, Farage just batted it straight off the field.

I saw it Tomo, amusing, yes, but not one word of policy. Have they changed their policy on the economy ? They brought the country to the brink of bankrupcy last time they were in power, so what will they do diffeernt if they get in next time ? Same as immigration, they admit now that the let far to many in; so what would they do next Time ? PPB.s used to be about policy, but now it's just slagging off each other, they all do it. By the way, I would rather stick pins in my eyes than vote for any of the three main parties, so I'm going to give UKIP a go this time; their policies, such as they ar

I disagree with that policy entirely ! If people want to pay for medical treatment they can go private, with the likes of BUPA, the NHS should be free and impartial. Can you give me a link to where Farage has endorsed this policy ?

Tomo; UKIP didn't us foreigners to deliver leaflets, they used a british company to deliver leaflets. Pedantic , yes, but it's the company to blame, not UKIP. Moocher; as I've said before, UKIP is NOT against immigration;; they would rather the immigrant was an Australian Engineer, an Indian Doctor, a Japanese Scientist....... than a Bulgarian Big issue Seller, a Rumanian Pick Pocket or a Lithuanian Beggar. I think Mick The Miller was stuffed and is on display, so, theoretically could be cloned; but would it be worth it ? The present day dogs are probably better. Would Red Rum be worth cloning ? Would he, at his best, beat the modern National horses ? Cloning could be good to resurrect extinct breeds, but I think it is only nostalgia that would lead anyone to recreate old race horses or greyhounds, etc.

Not a bull breed man myself but i have wondered in the past if (and i know there bred for different tasks)a pit bull or other bully type would still go to his work with such vigour if he did have to enter the dark,dig through a ever narrowing tube and then like you say meet a larger stronger foe in the foes back yard?.I have to say maybe not and i agree a working terrier's job is one of the hardest in the canine world. In the modern era, I'd say he was the best, especially as an entertainer. The old pro's like the Davis brothers, etc, couldn't live with him. Could have the two Steves given him a game........well, that's like asking if Louis could have beaten Ali....different era's. Hendry and O'Sullivans carears have over lapped and Ronnie holds a 30-21 head to head winning record against Hendry, though Hendry as won 7 worlds to Ronnie's 5, Hendry as won 5 uk Champs to Ronnies 4, he also leads in The Masters by 6-5. They've had 11 maximuns each, so all in all pretty even. As you say, they overlapp

Depends what you want; a 12a 12v sealed lead acid/gel will do you for a couple of hours. Not heavy and fairly reliable. 17a 12v is a fair bit heavier, but a young fit lad should manage one no bother ! LOL ! The lithiums are far lighter, but are they worth all that money if you only want a couple of hours out lamping ? -
