  1. If i won £100 million i'd buy thousands of beef cattle and insist that each was branded with the word "Scrumptious"
  2. Our Government have seen fit NOT to screen anyone coming from Africa through our airports. Apparently all it takes is a temperature check ffs. Almost as if the Government want the outbreak to reach these shores.
  3. County wide referendums?? can see a whole lot of counties getting bombarded with hunter's if this ever happens

    Gross!

pound to a penny says you sniffed your hands after getting the gunk on it
  5. Not a bad take on things that. But...it still boils down to obedience i reckon. (the dog wanting to do the right thing)
  6. Also had the odd pint or two before going up
  7. Again the idiot owners to blame. Not the poor dog.

  9. was considering a Ridgeline Monsoon Smock for bashing about in tbh. lamping/mooching. Not sure i will now though. Plus sizing seems a bind.
  10. Excellent work rob....And a fantastic imagination..... and it's that imagination that partly creates the stunning work.
  11. Can i ask why?? Hares are a natural prey animal in my book. Although i don't bother them at all on the lamp. This is purely because i don't own dogs for that job. But if i did..i'd lamp them all night long. Too much mystical shite surrounding the hare imo. Why should the hare get all wrapped up in cotton wool when folk deem it acceptable to lamp every other quarry. Just a genuine question.
  12. iv'e a block of 2 kennels/runs. each kennel is 5ft x 4ft. each run is 6ft x 4ft. Ample when they are out twice a day. They only use the run to sleep/sun bathe in. They are both fed and watered in the kennels so they can't see each other eating. Dog's need their own space and this is why i would never bed 2 down together at all.
  13. If a man feels he doesn't need to feed the mutts before a session that's the man's perogative. plus i don't think it makes him wrong either. Personal choice. There are no set laws on how to feed/condition a dog for work.
  14. On a more serious note..if i'm lamping then the mutts will get a lite meal around tea time ish then the usual meal as soon as bedded down after the session. Don't know why i do it..i just do...plus i feel the dogs perform better with a bit in their belly if asked to push themselves really hard.
  15. Well...i just got used to not feeding mine at all...then the spiteful bstards went and died on me
  16. They'd have been pleasantly surprised how many more would have attended(and spent cash) had they catered for the lurcher/terrier enthusiasts.
  17. 100w vertical filament.(better spot with vertical filament) Use the OSRAM branded bulb mate.
  18. You've had some decent advice on this thread (which is take it to a vet and get a report that it's in good health). You fail to do that you won't have a leg to stand on next time they visit. Your call. £25 at the vets or a confiscated dog with possible charges. Sad i know but these are the current charges terrier and lurcher men find themselves up against in today's anti working dog agenda's.
  19. Should be ideal for what you need mate
  20. Tidy wee thing. Get your ass over Shroom and get him picked up
  21. first cross whippet wheaten. around eight or nine i think. stick it over a greyhoundWhy would anyone use a greyhound these days? Theres plenty of proven WORKING dogs about...dogs that actually have stamina, durability, good feet etc etc etcBut none can match it for speed, prey drive..... an they can be awesome fox dogs, and they can take knocks toThere are proven coursing dogs out there that would match a grey for prey drive, not be that far behind in pace, better feet, better stamina, far more robust and far greater game sense. stamina, well obviously, but pace..... not a chance..... and as
  22. Someone's fishing and he's getting a lot of bite's
