    always wary of taking a staff or any type of bull out lamping because if you get caught you know what the police will be saying. What would the police be saying? Howard How did it go with your staffy gameover? I have had great fun with my staffy on our walks, he is quite quick and I think with the deck stacked in his direction a tiny bit he would get a few, but like yourself I think it's just great fun and he loves running.     As per title, I have a mk3 ferret finder and one collar for sale. It's only been used a few times and has been stored for a few years now so it's time I accept I won't need it for a while and sell it.     Why not volunteer at a local rescue and/or foster a dog? That way you can spend a lot of time with any dog that fits the bill before making a commitment and you should know if you have found a dog you can bond with pretty quickly. I understand what you mean about needing a dog you 'click' with and I would agree getting an older dog sounds the sensible option and there are a lot of great dogs needing homes. I adopted my previous and current dog and spent hours walking dozens before I found the right match for me, but when you find the right one it is obvious from the first walk. One word of war

    My mate had to spend 8 hours guarding a manhole when the cover was nicked, it was coned off and he had to sit on a chair next to it all day. Better yet, someone else's job was to check on all the people guarding the manholes. He had to quit after the second day. I have another mate who gets paid to put a few cones out, then check to make sure they aren't stolen a couple of times and gets paid the full days pay for it. I have never had a job remotely so easy, I think I would lose my last fragile grip on sanity if I did but I admit I am envious if you can still make a decent living.

    Ive literally run out of things to do... You can't find anything on youtube, hunting vids, people hurting themselves etc? No online games, nothing you want to learn about? What about finding a website like theync.com and keep clicking on vids to find out if you have a threshold?

    Did you park it in the same place as normal? My gf got her tyres slashed, almost certainly because she parked on the street outside someone's house who considered it 'their space'. Lots of people are f***ing psycho about their parking spots.

    has it snapped really short or has it been completely ripped out? If it's just broken off it should grow back, if not then I doubt it will. Either way you should clean it with a decent antiseptic and you can cap the end off, or try and wrap it up I suppose. I doubt there is much point seeing vet as they can't do much other than wrap it up or cap it 'professionally' but if it's not putting any weight down by tomorrow I would probably get it checked out for a break. You can stop the bleeding using a stypic pencil, or make a thick paste (flour and water will do) and that should stop it bleeding

    How is the sliding lid secured? I quite like it, but it looks like a ferret could easily scratch the lid open, but maybe there is a latch I can't see as I am sure you have tested them out...

    What are your best tips for saving money? Everyone loves a moan about money but instead how can you save a few quid without changing your lifestyle or lowering the quality of life? I got sick of paying silly money for shaving blades, so I recommend to anyone to use a cut throat razor instead. I have used one for about a year now and must have saved hundreds, as razors go for about £10 for 4 depending on brand and instead you can get 40 razors for less than £2, which you can use once each and throw away instead of trying to make them last as long as possible like I would do with normal blad

    I only see the same few people these days, always people with working labs or springers as it happens as since everything got flooded no-one else seems to be arsed to don some wellies and put on a coat. Ironically though I wish I saw a few more people sometimes so my dog gets a chance to socialise on a regular basis as I think it's good for him to get a chance to play and meet other dogs as often as possible. But if I see anyone with theirs on a lead I always put him on and it's baffling why others wouldn't. I can easily get away from them though as they all stick to the few flat fields and a
