    Thanks, fellas. My main shoot at the moment is a large wood on a managed estate. It's a beautiful proper big bit of very old woodland and I used to have free access to it but the management changed a few years back and now I can only go if the head keeper's about. A bit of a pain..... Mustn't grumble though 'cos I know there's many folks have no permission at all. All the other shoots I get these days are like the way todays sesh started. "Can I come and shoot these whatever's please?". Two or three outings, then that's it so to have proper access to somewhere again is great!

    Thanks, S T. It'd be great if I can score the wood. While we were there we watched loads of pigeons flying in and out. I really wll work out how to post pics on here soon. I've taken a good few this past few outings with a view to do just that. I'm a bit of a techno F-wit..... Cheers.

    Hi, folks. An old gamekeeper mate rang me up last night to ask if I'd give him a hand to knock over some bunnies that were wrecking an ornamental garden with a padock next door. We got there at about ten this morning expecting to have the whole day there but after about an hour the landowner turned up and we got chatting. Turns out my mate can't get over there too often so she asked me if I wouldn't mind helping out. Result!!!!     Brown sold off pretty much our entire gold reserves to pay the yanks back a few years ago. One interesting point of fact too..... Over the last five years, our wonderful 'leader's' have given away in overseas aid roughly the same amount as our national dept. 18 BILLION to China alone!!!!!! WTF's all that about??? Cheers.

    A little bit of pitting on the outside won't affect the way it shoots. Quality bit of kit those HW's, all of them. I've always seemed to have owned an HW rifle of one sort or another since I was 14, a 35 being the first, closely followed by an , then a 77, then another 77.     One more thing..... It is not, as you put it a 'tight little club', if you look back and read some of the posts by the newer members you'll see all are welcomed with open arms. It's only when someone comes on and starts spouting shite that they get a bad reception.... Not pointing any fingers here. Wanting something to be true is not the same as it really being true...     Wirral, it's like I said, there are a lot of folks reading these threads who are new to shooting and seeing someone claiming to be able to do the seemingly impossible only gives the wrong idea. We don't all have your own god like ability to make a silk purse from a turd I'm afraid, so I'll just have to keep plugging blindly away missing stuff at close range. If you really can do what you claim then prove it. Maybe you did once or twice pull off one of the miricles you claim but how many times have you missed or wounded?? I really do not care about your ego, just keep it real, please?

    If you're after parts for your Osprey, they're basicly the same as the Tracker. There's really bugger all difference between them. Webley launched the Tracker way back when but it was only ever an Osprey with a short barrel, then they 'introduced' a long barrel version of the Tracker.... Hmmmm..... Nice work, mate. Cheers.

    They'll always be some dumb f k's who'll screw things up but I think the majority of their readers won't think all airgunner's go around doing stupid sh1t like that. Same way when some p1ss-head gets into a car and kills some poor bugger..... Not all driver's are tarred with the same brush. That said, no doubt they'll be a few numbnut's who will think that but that's life. We are a minority group but unlike most other minority's, we've only got a small voice and few other's will listen... Shame.... Cheers.....
