  1. Why is the Union flag not displayed in your avatar rather than the Saltire? Do you know anything about Scottish history in relation to, "THE UNION OF THE CROWNS", UNION OF THE PARLIEMENTS",THE SCOTTISH AGE OF ENLIGHTENMENT" or even the early cultures/people's and language's of Scotland? or do you follow like a sheep and throw-away the rights and heritage of a Country?, incorrectly fly its flag by stating your British instead of displaying the flag that represents the views your entitled to have (Union Flag) I think!! and its also only a personal opinion if your British then the only fl
  2. Best of luck with it, fella!! Cheers.

  4. My old nan' used to say 'marriage is the best know cure for love' and 'relationship is the worst ship you can sail on'. Wise woman..... Cheers.

    As said. Cheers....
  9. For the close range barn kind of stuff, .25's OK but you'll not really gain anything over .22. Airgun pellet ballisitc's is a funny old science and .25 pellets really don't tend to fly well. Wrong ratio as regards to frontal area vs. length vs. mass. They come out of the end of the gun slow, then slow down even faster.... If you need one gun to shoot stuff at very short range then fair do's, give it a go but as has been said there's a very limited supply of pellets and guns. My advice would be to go with .22 for what you've said. Far move versatile. Cheers.
  10. God....... How I love being English......
  11. Nice one but you missed out the 341 who read it, probably had something constructive to say but for some reason didn't..... Cheers.
  12. Glad you got a result, Shay, just a shame you had to sell..... I've sold all kinds of stuff this past few weeks to try to get things sorted and was really hopeing it wouldn't come to selling some of my guns. I've just taken some pics this morning with a view to putting them up next week. My 410c, gas-rammed Lightning and Tracker will be going. Keeping my HW90 though, I'll never sell that. Cheers.
  13. Sorry to here that, Shay. I'm in the same boat as you, mate. If I can't raise some cash within the next few days, my 410c and a couple of others will have to go.... Good luck, fella. Cheers.
  14. Good luck with the new permission, Stroller. I know what you mean about does at this time of year, I've just scored a new shoot over an ornamental garden that's being hammered by bunnies and shooting each and every rabbit that shows just don't feel right but like you say, someone else will jump in if I don't do it. There's a large wood next door and I'm hopeing to get permission there so I've got to show willing. Cheers.
  15. Hi, Clint. Yup, .25 does drop quickly in a non FAC gun. There's a really useful program that you can down load called chairgun pro. It's free and it's a really good little tool that allows you to compare different cals, pellet weights, power etc. It's a doddle to use (even I can use it and I'm sh1te with technology ) . It's not perfect but as a fairly close guide, it's very good. Good luck, fella. Cheers.
  16. I've never fallen in while fishing but I once fell in as a lad while beating. Managed to pull a magistate in too who was helping me to get out. Went down well.... The Warf's feckin' cold in January. Cheers.
  17. Good informative post thank you AP ...... Having read through some more of your posts I still think you're a pi*s takeing tw*t but I like you. Cheers. Pinch of salt and all that.....
  18. I'd have much happier if they'd not been called in the first place...
  19. I love archery and I wish it was legal to hunt with them in the UK.... I've a Merlin Max 2000 and it's a lovely bit of kit. Trouble is most of the clubs in my area are full of analy retentive target shooting types who take it rather too seriously for my likeing. Enjoyed your last post, Aaron. I'd love to do that. True hunting IMO. Cheers.
  20. Hi, mate. Mine shoots well with the AA's but it shoots a little better with H and N FTT's and Logun Penetrator's. Super Domes are well worth trying too, I use them for practice as they're fairly cheap, group very well and have the same POI at my zero range as the Loguns. Good luck, fella. Cheers.
  21. In full power form the 90's not nice to shoot. The feckin' thing trys to jump out of your arms when the ram's fully pumped up. Knocked back down to the UK legal limit and it's a really nice springer. Low recoil, quiet, VERY smooth and as already been said, first class trigger. I've owned mine for a long time now and have owned many guns that I've sold on but I've always kept the 90. Cheers.
  22. Thanks, Davy. Don't think that's a good idea for me pest hunter. They came in with a bad attitude to start with and as it happened I'd only been home for an hour or so after comeing back from my new shoot, so my gear and a couple of dead bunnies were in my kitchen. One was a WPC and she didn't look too chuffed..... I take your point 100% though. A few days after all that and they get a call to say some tosser's randomly shooting stuff and it takes 2 days for them to respond. Bad form........ Don't want to rock the boat. It's not too good where I live and if I p1ss off the local pl
  23. Hi, folks. As said I've just been paid a visit. Turns out one of my lovely neighbour's rang in a 999 call TWO days ago to say I'd been shooting all over the place, chimney pots, birds in other folks trees all kinds of sh1te. The funny thing is, I've not shot at home for over a week FFS!! And 'cos my garden's only 12 yards long, I shoot from the back of my kitchen which gives me an extra 5 yards so I'm not even in the feckin' garden!!!! Anyway, I explained all this the cops, showed them my back-stop, been shooting for over 30 years blah blah and in fairness to them, they were co
