  8. It contains the best pictures of hares I've seen , the photos are top notch, one of my dogs is in it, which of course is nice for me.I'm glad I own the book. It will appreciate in value , but I'll never sell it.
  9. aye cause thats a good account of ww11 lol The brutality of the Nazi's, the day to day struggle of the jews and the story of Oskar Schindler. I'd say it's (aside from certain scenes) the most realistic portrayal of War-era Germany ever put onto the silver screen. That and Band of Brothers. I personally think that " The Boy In The Striped Pajamas" was a much better cinematic portrayal of the odd juxtaposition between a good family man doing what he thought was right for his children, his race and his country and the brutal finality of the Jews lives in the camp. It also showe
  10. I thought it was about giving some one an anal leathering, you've wasted my time,I shall report you to the mods.
  11. My partner and I had one Wednesday . I cooked the rabbits overnight in a slow cooker with just water.De-boned it ,and put it in a casserole dish with two Asda's own curry sauces, one Balti, one Madras then placed it on a bed of rice . We thought it was a success. Jusst one thing , don't shred the rabbit too much as it soaks up a remarkable amount of the sauce if you do.
  12. Thanks for this,I bought the book about 40 years ago.
  13. They are thin on the ground in many areas. I was on a shoot in Cambs yesterday only saw 2.
  14. These are much better than the old ones. Only joking. Why do you give them lime juice to drink?
  15. I used a Clulite for several years .got on ok with it. One good feature was the little walking light, good for opening gates, putting the dog back on a slip etc. I use a Lazer lite now , good beam , but the wiring is crap.
  16. For only rabbiting,ie bolting, net guarding, ferreting , I would go for the whippet beddie ,it keeps the size down and you are pursuing a 3lb bunny ,so the cross is more than up to it.If you want to do other things then the Grew x, gives you more options, with its added height and weight.
  17. There again, there are people who look at photos of running dogs at work and haven't a clue as to their condition ,so they make inane comments out of ignorance.
  18. I think the point of the inquiry is that is would be for free? I assume most who have meat would feed their own animals on it.
  19. two men caught recently in lincs walking the road ,and the police told them that they had got information of this site and also that they were monitoring a certain comp via this site Kind/stupid of the police to give that heads up .I believe one of the contestants in that comp was lifted the other week , I don't know if it was while he was competing in it. I think he is known by a" piscean" nick name?
  20. I'm not naive ,and neither are the Old Bill. If you want to help them in their duties thats your privilege. I don't break the law ,and I'm sure you don't either, so why leave yourself open to "misinterpretation"? Do you need a pat on the back so badly? Anyway, have a good season, and a safe one.
  21. Personally I'm a bit baffled why some feel the need to post pics of "shot hares, retrieved by their dogs" in this present climate. With an elite coursing squad roaming Lincs and Cambs full time, I would not want the attention such photos might draw from them ,and the real possibility that they might be" misinterpreted" by antis/police/.
  22. Sorry to hear Tegan didn't take, lets hope the new arrival becomes as good, it has a tough act to follow.ATB Tony.
