    My old bitch caught a couple of lucky ones one season when it was very cold and there seemed to be a lot in our area....I loved to watch her creeping down the beam like a cat, good old bitch she was.

    How can they say they are looking for lampers, lamping isn't illegal - If you have permission and are lamping rabbits then they are only wasting their time.

    Nice when you get a handy fix like that - I have an old van for the dogs and it was messing about starting, local mechanic done heater plugs, battery, starter - No good.... My mate found a small air line to the fuel pump split, replaced it and its flying since.

    People say that, I have longnets that I have had for years and the castration rings are fine, the odd one snaps but its no big deal, I have a few boxes in the shed.

    You want to thread the pole through the mesh on the first and last pole and secure it with tape, Unfortunately I don't have a photo. On the next however many poles your using, use this knot on either a grommet or straight on the pole, secured with a castration band. Some people don't like the bands but I have never had any problem with them.

    I have done both with my bushing dog...But something pushed out and CAUGHT as opposed to pushed out and SHOT is far better - I would take the Lurcher over the gun ANY DAY.

    It is the best bacon you will ever eat - I buy bellies off the butcher and do a few different cures - When you cook it there is no white water comes out of it at all!!

    I tried a Lightforce HID, But it was way too bulky for me for lamping with the dogs...That ballast on the bottom makes it awkward to handle

    I have permission on a farm , the two brothers on it always ask how I am getting on at the rabbits with my greyhounds and minks!
