    What a tube....but you learn the hard way....I gave a pup to a man two years ago on the agreement if it didn't work out it was returned, not swapped sold or passed on... 10 months later it appeared FOR SALE on the internet....I found out a day or two later it was running loose where he lived and being looked after by neighbours...I called round, he was loose, he knew me even though he was 8 weeks when he left....he is now in a genuine home getting well looked after and getting plenty of work. You live and learn

    I bought long net poles from Robin Tarrant a few times through the magnum trap company, he seemed a very nice guy and was top class and hassle free in any dealings we had... It is heart warming to read that he had friend to trust with his dog at the end of his time. I'm sure he'll get a genuine home.

    I've never been able to understand the dog swapper mentality... There's a lad local to me...bull cross for sale, will swap for rabbit dog...next week, rabbit dog for sale will swap for terrier...then he's looking for a whippet, week after he's swapping it for hound pups and has them for sale three days later... The dogs don't get to stay long, although I did see how he keeps them and it's probably just as well...

    I had the Lurchers and my teckels out on Sunday through some cover, lovely morning it was too...very frosty with a bit of fog in the air...cant beat the noise of a few germans breaking the morning silence after a few rabbits!
