  1. Bernard Manning said the things most other comedians was to afraid to say, the guy was a old school stand up genius .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnW3bmiky98

  4. £70.000 Pounds for 14 Peregrine eggs? they must have all been 18 Carat , I would think Its near on 70 Captive Bred Falcons to net that sort of money. why would anyone in the right mind want to take Peregrine eggs when they are so readily available through captive breeding is beyond me. Also Can't see why falconers in Dubai would show any interest in this guy when their is so many bred in captivity around the world. They're normally pretty strict with the legalities and paperwork as is DEFRA <Animal Health> and customs...
  5. Just seen this! probably ended up in a Wok... Ratzilla

  7. with a bit of luck the lad has a good reason for messing! but the fact he's ignoring you doesn't sound good.... this has been talked about a few times on the mods section when people have been genuinly done over, when its been proved beyond a shadow of doubt my opinion is the person responsible should be removed and outed on the forum... Many times there's good reasons with two sides to both stories which hopefully get resolved, the people who don't comply with a binding transaction should lose membership, simple as that.... Jasp

OK I'm biased being a Man Utd fan but I have to say this lad looks like a good buy. I recon if he gets the chance he'll do the business for us up front... I'm sure he'll be a bit better up front than Berbatit Hernandez
  9. Cheers all for the info .... The post office offered a exchange rate of 01.3500, this would give back roughly £372 for 500 Euros, on the net it was averageing around £416 for 500 euros, it basically means the Post office would take a fair lump in commision... I'm a bit pissed as my 14 year old lad sold a load of his games and a couple of consoles, plus some other bits to put towards a downhill mountain bike, a foreigner brought the lot for £420 but gave him 500 Euro's! I checked it out on the net and it worked out around £416 so my lad excepted it... It now turns out he'll now
  10. Can someone give help me out here .. I spent some time going through the exchange rates on the net converting Euro's back to Pounds sterling at todays exchange rate. we then decided to see what the post office or bank had to offer which for some reason was alot less? For Instance 200 Euro's converted to pounds sterling on the net would give rounghly £166, yet the post office by their exchange rates would work out £148 back for 200 Euro's? Ok I'm probably being a Numpty but have I missed something here? do you get a better exchange rate buying Euro's and less changing back to pou

    Rossi?

I know what you mean stealthy. Mine was a bit tamer after the FS1E I moved onto a Vespa PX150, to be Honest I recon the Fizzy had better pick up into the wind .... My DT175 was my baby. I skimmed the head and ported it, stuck some Boysen reeds in it and took the valve stoppers out of it, also went a couple more teeth on the front sprocket and jacked it, it was a cracking wheely machine .. Rossi?

Shame he didn't stay with the Yammy's. Must admit I have always liked the Yamaha's since I had a old Fizzy and DT175MX ...... I had 48MPH out of my Fizzy ........
  14. Cracking quality Rob! that site will be very nice when its totaly up and running with a few more images . I like the knife enzo 01.jpg but with a different handle, what price is this knife?...... Just out Interest is the Enzo 01 carbon steel? most of my old knives I think was old 440c which seems to blunt pretty quick. you might laugh but I invested a while back in a Gransfors bruks Hunting axe, its been a handy bit of kit and probably the sharpest axe I have ever used and holds a good edge! its sharp enough to skin things with, used it for Hide making and all sorts of stuff! its a very h
  15. You're a star Wurz. Far too many people up themselves these days mate. we used to sit in the Art room at school with the bottles of Indian Ink making a right mess of each others hands and arms with some weired so called street art , I wouldn't have changed it for nothing. I look back at the days of the late 70's and 's from the time of leaving school to the mod skinhead days and it brings me a rye smile mate.... It was a part of my life I loved and will never forget.... atb Jasp
  16. Its a private Joke Sam from some of the crap we've seen posted in the past .... Jasper
  17. Same old story Wurz! I've had in in the past with people jumping to the wrong conclusion about me just because they don't like the look of me or perhaps they don't like Tattoos.... I remember sitting in a truck going on a cock shoot and one of the guys said to me "was there any need for you to have then things tattooed on you hand"? I said to him "Yeah at the time their obviously was". I have to say his comment and the way he looked down his nose at me pissed me off for the rest of the day..... atb Jasp
  18. Good shooting and cracking write up stealthy I do alot of my shooting on my own these days unless I'm lamping, I'm slowly getting used to my own company and spending alot of time talking to myself expecially if I pull off a half decent shot ......... atb Jasp
  19. Hello Rob How much do you do the knife for on its own mate? and do you do other Hunting/Skinning knife designs? the spike is a great idea and simular to what a Guy I knew used years ago, he called his a "Bodkin spike"....... I still neck everything while the bird is on its quarry and leave the bird to break in, if not I would have been interested in a spike off you too....... cheers Jasper

  21. Nice one Guys cheers! its nice to get the gun in my hands again, its been stuck in the corner of the room gathering dust for a good few weeks doing nothing, thinks are getting back to normal again here so I can now enjoy it again and hopefully meet up with some of you lads during the Winter Hunting season.... Jasp Many thanks Pal! the gun definitley seems to have a sweet spot which is around 150BAR, I'm not sure if anyone else's pcp's have this? don't get me wrong it shoots fine from 185Bar downwards, but when it hits the 150 mark it max's out down to the drop off....... Ja

  25. :clapper: Thats the one Graham. mine was made up of old black pipe and bound rope! I never had a problem with it with all the years I had it. I look at some of the designs these days and think they look far more Dangerouse than any of these old one's, lets face the first falconers just stuck a Bow in the ground and there they stood.... atb Jasp
