Nice one Shay . there was a few niggly things that I wasn't happy about with the gun mate, one was the problem with the barrel being loose, the other was the Barrel shroud which was held on with two AF grub screws which just wouldn't tighten up enough, I finally removed the shroud and Tapped out the holes to 4mm and fitted a couple of larger grubs! I also slid some 13mm O Rings down the barrel to support it where the silencer adaptor is fitted, the adapator actually slides over the end of the barrel and threads internaly into the shroud which was a bit crap, the O Rings help support the unit

Nice one guys much apreciated! its now minced and gone into some very hungary Hawks ... I havn't been able to take part in many posts over the last couple of months, its been hectic here with one thing and another! I'm surprised I'm not in Funny farm to be honest ... Its just a standard Air Ranger Tony without all the fandango electronics, Don't get me wrong I like the Airwolf but it seems there are far too many gadgets for my liking to go wrong....... Got a bit fed up today listening to the Pigeons in the woods and finally blew the cobwebs off the gun and took a quick Mooch just before Dark, I didn't have to go far before one noisy Pigeon gave his position away 3/4's the way up in Beech tree.... Not much to tell really except it was a nightmare to get a clear shot due to the Folige which left me litteraly with only a clear head shot when he decided to keep still, again the Air Ranger hit its Target and down came a Hawks Lunch ........ From a Englishmans point of view it would be nice to beat them... BUT!!!! then again if I was betting on a race It would be fool hardy to be putting my money on a loseing Horse, why would I anyone want to back a looser? Good or Bad ? should we all suffer because the banks and other mistakes allowed the country to get us into this mess? The tories put VAT up to 17.5% last time they was in, they're now virtually in again and straight away banged it up to 20%. when we do have a recovery I wonder if they will drop it down again? somehow I don't think so........ Nice one Tony..... Not done much with the gun for a good few weeks so it stood gathering dust! its that time of the year for me when I start to pull my hair out and go grey quicker........ I topped her up and had a few pot shots a couple of weeks ago, knocked over a few Pigeons and the odd bunny for Hawk food before the squirrels life was ended prematurely... Hows things with you pal? Have to agree with you there Pal . I have knocked over alot of stuff these last few weeks without documenting them on the forum but boy does The Air Ranger in .177 hit the sweet spot, I have no idea what they are like in the girly .22 Calibre but the .177's are Lethal.... Popped this male Squirrel while he was in the process of Building a Drey behind my aviaries yesterday, I got the chance of one shot through the leaves which was behind the front legs/Rib area! he stood still for a split second and down he come, The Ranger didn't let me down as usual.... Rooney was bang out of order Gobbing off at the English fans after the game. they must of paid f*****g thousands to go to Africa just to see a bunch or over paid arse wipes out for a stroll on the pitch... I said in my last post on the subject before somone removed the thread that Spars can be a nuisance but then again so is the average household cat..... I never thought I would say this but the Spars around here are doing my nut in taking birds off the bird table, I'm not condemning them just stateing a fact that I know how much damage a Spar can do expecially when rearing youngsters, only the other day the wife saw one take a young Woodpecker.... I actually loved the bloody things! but not so much of late. Its about time (Animal Health WLRS) allowed Falconers a Wild Take under License

I'm with Maaccy on this one! Heavy Artillary like a nice Female Redtail would get the job done! then again so would a decent female Gos or Harrishawk but I would still fancy a female Red..... There's obviously all sorts of danger Hunting certain quarry with BOP, taking Fox's and Roe with Goldies can end up with a Injured or dead bird, even Hare hawking can be nasty! I heard of a story of lad losing a Gos after its crop was virtually torn out by a Hare kicking...... Having said that I think I would save my birds from potential Injury and clear up the Ferals with a Rimmy or 12G .........

Frankie Boyles a class act..... he has to be one of the funniest guys oround these days. watched him on Jonathan Ross the other evening and boy is he quick with the one liners, For once J Ross was stumped for words.........
