Picked up a D22 around 4 years ago and thankfully all is still well with only one minor MOT failure! it had done around 85,000 when I got it and now on around 110,000.. there was a site I looked on Navara.net that scared the shit out of me showing many motors all going bang for the same reason! seems there's definitely a fault but Nissan for some reason won't do a recall or recognise it . a lad had one on this estate on the same plate as mine with just over 70k on the clock and his also went pop... Just seems weired why some of the same age do it and other's cruise on faultless.....

Must admit I was surprised to see these for sale on Ebay. we picked a tad over 3lb today but was surprised how many had already started cracking and going off on the trees? not sure if its me but I'm sure in the past we picked them alot later than this and even seen some advice saying after a frost? Seems alot of book for that price! not many books like this going for under £50. I've paid in the past near on twice as much as this for Falconry books well short of 100 pages, nothing else in by hard writing and a few sketches! no pictures....

Not many making Hawks/Buteo's to the Hood these days over here! most seem to do fine without them. personaly Hooding is the only way I know with a Parent Reared Hawk! it benefits me and the hawk expecially in the early stages... Cheers

Welcome to the forum Betomex I have a old pair of breeding HH's here, the female is 16 and the male is now 21! the male is a very dark bird originaly Imported from mexico in 89. the pair are still doing the business but now less in a clutch! I still have three 16 week youngsters off them I havn't advertised as yet... Cracking pictures too Betomex! also nice to see people useing a Hood whatever species Jasp

I know the feeling steve! I dropped out of the Air Rifles for many years although always had one laying about in the loft or Cabinet. finally decided to invest in another Pre charge sometime last year and felt like a kid in a sweetshop . I love to pick the gun up for a Mooch! everything else switches off around me includeing any jobs the wife wants doing .... I reckon you'll have a ball mate Jasp

My daughters 12 in 8 days and son 15 soon, funny how they change when they get in the secondary school. My lad was interested in guns,catapaults, motorbikes etc! all the things when I was a lad.. All he does now it go out with his mates, play the xbox or Facebook and hardly says a word! they're like cyber kids these days, all seems strange to me when it can be a lovely day outside and they want to sit on facebook......

thanks for the offer but Not for me mate! they're plagued with them here and regulars in my Garden field . its bunnies I want for the meat, not because its good meat but because its nutrition value is alot lower than somthing like Hare! very handy when I'm bringing a Hawk into condition to fly, Rabbit is a excellent diet allowing them to eat plenty but maintain the weight, Basically they can eat alot without gaining much weight! helps me during the manning period... I can sleep sound Moxy! when I click the mouse Its all entertainment to me pal .....

Trust me pal I was over it before it started the time before . I did the poll out of Interest to see what the overall view was on taking Hares with 12ft/lbs rifle due to the amount of interest generated before. if there's alot more people saying Yes! perhaps the BASC should take note on their recommendations... Nothing anyone put on here will ever sway my judgement on weather to squeeze the trigger on a Hare while its still law! if I want to take one I'll do it with no questions asked, it will be my choice and one I'll take if I'm happy with the situation presented to me.
