I'm getting old now Gnash!! Hitting my 45th soon and becoming one of them grumpy old men .............. Capri's being tail happy was a understatement, they seemed to whip round at the drop of a hat but it never failed to impress. you're right about the amount of room under them Bonnets mate!! the old Pinto's looked lost in them. mind you we never cracked our knuckles working on them like the later motors with engines squeezed in....... I loved my 2.0S, it came with the lovely checked seats complete with Tenni

I loved my old Capri! a proper Fanny magnet for its time, this was my old Capri 2.0S and even older MK3 Cortina 2.0GT parked when I was a single lad living at home........ C'mon stubby you can't expect them to make one look like the old Capri's designed in the 1970's! things have had to move on mate with the times, its 2010...........

There must be a few old boy Racers on the forum who owned one of these or perhaps a Suped up Cortina or Escort? what a time to have a car compared to the tamperproof cars these days, you could tinker with the engines and modenise to your hearts content......... New Ford Capri

A friend of mine did exactly the same when we was 17, I went through school with this lad right up to the time we left moving onto the old Government Trainning schemes for our first jobs, we had the same Air Rifles skived school together as I'm sure we all did in the late 70 earley 's and had some great laughs...... the obviouse happend when he picked up some bird and we lost contact for a month or so until one saturday I saw him drinking alone in the local pub we all used to bundle in, the annoying thing is I had a bit of a go at him for not giving me a shout but all was fine by the end o

Was out Roost shooting with the shottys a few years back and litteraly Peppered a pigeon as it dropped in, to my surprise is somehow picked its self up as it tumbled and flew out of the wood before dropping, my pals dog retreived it and brought it back and it was smashed, I plucked the chest and the bloody thing was like a pin cushion! to this day I still am lost as to how this bird managed to fly out of the Danger zone before dropping........... Funny how somthing like this sticks in your crop after all these years .............

The man must have been fairly well wired!! he gave scores of armed police, Helecopters and even some RAF Jet fighters the Run around for well over a week............. One guy and a shotgun VS scores of police and whatever else at their disposal! even then he died at his own hands........

No Iicence is requied for a BOP, some schedule 4 birds will still be registered with the Blue document and need a Article 10 and some with just Article 10's, the two birds you mentioned won't need either....... Spot on Si! you can never have enough land to shoot on pal, Just another string to your Bow when you need it .... I was lucky a few years back when a good farmer asked me to fly a Hawk across his land where he was having problems with Corvids and other vermin, it worked out fine as over time I won his trust and finally won full permision to shoot and fish the land, it all totaled up a tad shy of 11,000 Acres split into five farms! the guy gave me maps of each farm aswel as the pigeons flight lines, the Rookeries, and the Bunny hotspots..... Now here is the awkward bit. I havn't been
