To be honest i would use frontline spray , treat all the animals & treadt the house as well with an insectiside , otherwise you wasting your money doing the animals & leaving the house as they breed all the time & just wait for a host to jump on ivormec is bloody brilliant.i jab all my lurchers with it. i just give them 1 mil under the skin on the neck. ask ya vet bthey will tell you it works great it just isnt licensed for dogs but it is for cats!!! check with them as they have a big medicine book with all stuff written in and also gives doses Thank you spider pig fi

Tomo mate i think the lack of entries to the comp show what faith people have in their dogs abilities.............. at least mark has the balls to be in it, unlike the majority of this site!!! i guess all will be shown this season............cant wait till its underway and we'll get an influx of people who would've entered......... so because myself and people like me dont want to travell hundereds of miles up to the north east of england to run my dog on some silly rabbitts in a chest puffing lamping competition then we have no faith in our dogs abilities ??? i break all my dogs to cats chickens ducks livestock anything you will come accross on a farm really ... last thing you need is open your truck let the dogs out and it nails the farm cat ... end of permission .........

as i said yesterday usually when one of my dogs make a catch the light goes of they bring back in the dark i NEVER let them retreive normally with the light on,this exercise was for the benefit of the camera they have now only ever done this twice,besides that problem socks what do you think,mark mark you know i speak the truth and say it as it is BUT apart from the retrieve i cant really see much else ..........

mark if they are scoring the lamping competition on the run catch and retrieve live to hand then i fear you may lose a few points on the last one .............

blinded hare ??? how is that going happen unless the hare runs straight towrds you ... a hare is no different than a rabbit ... it is an agricultural pest pure and simple and shouldnt be given any preferencial treatment to the rabbit ........... clearly you have not compared a hare running during the day and 1 running at night or you would notice the gulf of difference. right lets just clarify i never said a hare run on the lamp was the same as one run in the day ... what i said was that they dont get blinded and as an agricultural pest they are no different than a rabbit .......

yep thats the reason my collie mut is shit and cant catch a cold so it makes me feel like a proper dog man when she catches hares on the lamp .............

Will give them a try tomorrow thanks.But they are so tiny tracey they will eat WHOLE rabbit at that age no need to mince it and it will be far easyer for them to eat and digest than dry food watered down or not ...........
