right feckwit let me explain it to you in simple terms ... what i said was that there are plenty of greyhounds out there working which is fact ... i told you that to make a point that they are not going to fall apart or need mollycoddling after only one run of however long ...you then said this ..... they have pss poor feet, damage their lungs easy, can damage their bones/joints even kidneys and heart and lungs, fine tuned animals evolved to do one thing very very well, sprint on sand .... what a load of bullshit ... when have you seen a greyhound damaging its lungs or kidneys or hea

sopt on and thats the whole reason that i got tegan ... she is my starting base for my new line ... she is a first cross and both her parents linage can be traced back ... she has turned out far better than i could have hoped for which makes the prospect of a good line more appealing .........

damashman there are plenty of greyhounds doing it out in the field and they certainly aint no soft type of dog that can damege joints tendons etc easily .... run once a week and then mollycoddled !!! you have obviously never keped and conditioned a track dog have you ??? i bet my track dogs do more in a week than your lurchers do in a month ... they have to work hard to produce the goods on the track .... as for contacting dave sleight WHY ??? has he ever produced a top class track dog that he has reared and conditioned himself ??? or does he just by in a mediocre dog stick it on his allotment

SJM listen to me as i know a little about this subject .... kubatons, asps, knives, sticks, dog leads etc etc etc are all close quarter weapons and unless you are trained to use them they are just about useless to you ... the point is to keep your assailant at a safe distance not allow him to get close enough where he can harm you or remove your intended protective weapon and use it against you .... look take a knife for example .. some nutter wants to drag you into a bush and dry bumb you ... you pull out knife try to use it nutter takes it off you and thinks f**k this she might recognise

if you drink that much tea and coffee then what you need is a burco boiler with a temperature gauge so that when the water has boiled it keeps it at that temperature ... it will save you a fortune ............

the only way to ensure your dogs will protect you is if you have a correctly trained protection dog .... for all you ladies that walk out in remote areas day in day out and live alone the initial layout for a well trained dog will pay dividends in the future ... even if it just means you can go on a walk without a care in the world and concentrate on the beauty of the surroundings rather than worry whats around the next bend on a deserted woodland path ...........

uless you are well versed in the methods of using one and knew the areas to strike for maximum effect and it was a one on one scenario an asp batton whatever you want to call it is useless .... if 2 or 3 people rushed you, you would be lucky to strike one of them and the effectiveness of the strike would be pathetic as you would be to busy trying to watch what the others were doing and where they were ..... you would be far better off using mace or pepper spray .... if you feel in danger make sure the would be assailents are down wind of you ... if not then position yourself so that they are .
