get a bottle of kids cough medicine and a bottle of tcp ... tip out a 1/4 of the cough mixture and add the tcp ... give a table spoon morning and night and also give some honey inbetween to help sooth the throat ..... dont excersise thew dog as 1. this will agrevate the infection and make it more difficult to cure and 2. kennel cough is an airborn disease and you will spread it to other dogs who in turn could give it back to yours again ....... should be cured in around 2 weeks by doing this ...........

i own a first cross collie grey and belive me there are not many dogs that could beat her to first turn on a bunny .... there are a fair few that have seen her move ...........

Socks will you elaborate on said training and conditiong a bit, please? lurchergrrl it woulb be impossible for me to write down on here a conditioning and training programme it would take me days and there wouldnt be enough room on this thread .... but believe me it is possible once you understand how canine physiology works and what diet is needed for what muscles to optimise their use .............

no it cant socks they have it r not u can only give a dog abit of edge not pace if u can get sum greyhounds u will b made what get some like these you mean .......... oh yhea and both dogs were track record holders ...........

yes mate she will more than likely be going to cardiff as they have a very good zoology department and also she is a very accomplished classical singer and they also have a very good record of achievement in music so she gets the best of both worlds ..........

Congratulations socks, whats she doing next? For any of you that did worse than expected, its not the end of the world, mine were all D's, E's and a C I left school in 1989 but went back to University in 1997 aged 23 and finally got a qualification and the career I wanted... she is now doing her A levels with a veiw to going to university to study zoology ....... oh and she was also voted queen of the prom aswell .........

i think that flapping dogs are rubbish compared to the elite athletes of the ngrc world and anybody that owns or runs flappers are just to scared to race against real dogs in the ngrc ..........

good read that J and sounds like you did ok for your first time in the ring using queensbury rules ... i prefer to do a little coaching these days ... you get less tired and it dont hurt at all ..........

some of you may remember i was after information about weimaraners as my wife wanted a HPR breed and fancied them ... well after some good advice off folk off here and researching the breed thouroughly for the last few weeks we decided that they were most definately not the breed for us ...... so after much deliberating we diced on a GSP ... my wife wanted a steady dog that can be in the house as a pet but she is also seriously thinking about getting into the trialing side of things and will hopefully have a go with the bitch next year when she is older ...... STAR ........

Your entire post socks shows you aint read anything to do with the competition.....if you had, you'd know exactly how we plen to run it as its set out in A B C format mate....... and as for singleing me out as slagging your faith in your dogs, i dont think you've ever been mentioned anywhere have you........... never thought you were part of the paranoid/everyones against me brigade!!!!!!!!! At least you'll be able to join the ranks who say they'd have beaten the dogs in the final when it happens......... i certainly aint paranoid mate ... infact i couldnt give a flying feck what y

because if people are allowed to pick their runs they will make sure that they will only run on the easy rabbits that are guarenteed and you will spend more time tramping around the fields that running dogs .........

max i was taking it as a bit of a fun comp and leaving the guys that are involved to crack on and do what they wanted and win or lose hopefully it would be a fun comp ..... what i do take exception to is comments like this from longdogrunner ..... Tomo mate i think the lack of entries to the comp show what faith people have in their dogs abilities.............. at least mark has the balls to be in it, unlike the majority of this site!!! and as i said earlyer just because i have no intention of running my dog in this or any other competition doesnt mean i have no faith in my dog ..
