Do you live in a town or rural?
That looks like a ferret rather than a polecat.
There are wild populations, but not around in wales mate.
Very wierd to get so many, all polecat looking?
there is a strong polecat population in qwest wales ..........
You dont really want one cos if you did distance dos'nt matter

nothing much you can do mate ... the dog has been bred from a long line of FTCH that are bred to smash cover and work flat out for short periods of time whilst being judged ... you would have been better off just getting a dog from normal working stock ... i have a little black bitch here that has 41 FTCH in her 5 generation pedigree and she is exactly the same as your dog .....
polecat jill and a sandy jill from proven working stock have both had litters this week for my own line but i will have one or two spare if you want some ..........
it all epends how much YOU think its worth take into account diesel/petrol pellets your time ... feeding your animals ... is it easy ferreting or is it all nettles and brambels ... if you are happy sloging your arse off for a tenner then charge a tenner personally i wouldnt work for so little ... if you are putting in the hours then charge accordingly ..........
a whirrier is generally classed as a short legged terrier used in the cross ie russel, border, lakeland etc the leggier breeds such as the bedlington and airedale are classed as lurchers.
Glanamman mate hunting grounds in Trapp nr Llandeilo
that brings back memories .. i used to hunt around trap tally and the surrounding areas over 30 years ago ..........
no matter what you nee to do to a ferret the handling is the same .... using your fore finger and thumb scruff them on the back of the neck and alow them to hang this doesnt hurt them but it does render them virtualy dead still allowing you to check teeth eyes ears nails etc quickly and efficiently.
