    I had completely forgotten that you were going to do this and hadn't realised you had been, done it and come back, good effort. There is something very uplifting and calming about having a week to yourself with only your thoughts to occupy you. I have known guys to crack after only a couple of days on their own, no mental stamina and even less spine.     I have nearly finished building my new kennel block and I will be putting in a heating system that will be set at 15 degrees all through the winter IMO when a dog comes in from a hard day or nights hunting it will recover and be ready to go if it can stretch out in a nice warm kennel allowing its muscles to recover rather than having to curl up in a ball to stay warm .............

    Spot on mate though i find mine to be quite warm and comfortable when it's cold out. I had mine on tonight when out and was well snug in it It will be in the beginning mate but as the charcoal lining breaks down you are left with a cheap outer layer that lets the cold in .......

    NBC suites are made for one thing Nuclear Biological and Chemical warfare .... You will get hot in one in the summer ... You will be cold in one in the winter ... You will sweat if you walk any distance in one and you will be wet if it rains ... They are charcoal lined and deteriorate very quickly as they are not even rip proof ...     We were approached by Kevin mcclouds production team (him off grand designs) last year to do a rabbiting segment for his new show where he wanted to make glue out of rabbits ... NO PROBS ... we said what exactly do you want .... Well the producer said it needs to happen in July in a wooded area with plenty of foliage around so it looks appealing to the eye .... We can't start filming until after 5 in the evening ... We only have time for one evenings filming ... There will be a crew of 6 plus yourselves and we need to catch around 30 rabbits .....     Had my blade out on a rabbiting job last week and it performed to the standard you would expect from one of mats knives ... Razor sharp and fits nicely in the hand with a lovely balance to the knife ... Just the right size for paunching game ... I am going to use it next week for some deer skinning I will need to do and I reckons the size and weight of this little beauty will be spot on for the job ... Once again mat thank you for a fantastically well made knife ............

    Rossthedog there is a little old terrier man in west Wales called mal Thomas that only works Russell's have a day out with him and see if you change your mind once you have seen his dogs work and if you don't you can always make some silly welsh remark to him to see where that gets you lol ..........

    Of course you do need intelligent people mate, you need them in most walks of life if not every. I still think you could take most able bodied people of the street and make the a soldier........If thats not the case then why do people say criminals should get National Service?.... I have done 2 years as an instructor in a training depot and the wastage was over 50% on each intake it is down to a number of reasons.......... 1.
