You can all sit on here and pass judgment and say this shouldn't happen that shouldn't happen you should do this do that blah blah blah ..... The only people that can pass judgement on topics like this are those of us that have been in these hell holes fighting for your life every second of every day when your out there where crossing a compound with your head a little to high will get you killed and every step you take could literally be your last and it has for to many lads ... It depends on what you are going to be using the dog for ...,if its ferreting going out now and sitting on a warren for 10 minuets at a time won't do it any harm ..... If its lamping then obviously it's way to young ........

Yep drainage in first BUT stuff something in the open end to stop all the crap falling in there whilst the build goes on ... As has been said put the trap in at the base it's what I was advised and it makes sense as its easy to clean if it gets blocked .......

Racing greyhounds and getting them ready for top competitions so they peak at the right time taught me a lot about getting my lurchers fit and keeping them there Tegan is 8 years old this year and works nearly every day of the week on different rabbit jobs and she hasn't let me down yet ... You just have to know when your dog needs that extra bit of rest to perform to the best of its ability ..........

There are lots of factors that can put an end to a good dogs life ... Lack of fluids throuought the day/night people expect a dog to go and go and go and think that giving water will hinder the dog in some way ..... Every ten or so runs I give the dogs a drink of electrolyte to replace the salts lost through excessive work .... Feeding to soon before working can cause gastric torsion and is a quick killer ... Dogs should have 6 clear hours to digest their food before working to avoid this and they should never be fed whilst working hard ...... The weather is another big factor that peo

As some of you may know had my bitch Tegan scanned today as she was due to have a litter this coming Sunday however the scan showed no pups so I am left in limbo ... I am looking for something similar to what I was hoping to breed which was saluki collie grey ... Tegan is probably on her last full season of work this year and I need a pup to be ready for next season .... Anyway if any of you lads out here know of a litter then I would be very grateful .........

Probably not she has only ever had 2 proper seasons .... The vet has told me that there would be 1 in a million chance of her catching so I think I will cut my losses and buy a pup in .................
