    I remember the sports club at Aycliffe around the fishing lake my lurcher bitch was a Cnut for feather,she leaped into the lake while people were fishing and just mist a coot.All you could here was (there’s that f***ing dog again) and my border bitch ate this poor lads bait off the jetty.

    All lurchers make great pets around kids mate as they grow up with them and once out in the field they know there job once trained.If it’s just rabbits you are interested in go for a pure whippet or a beddy whippet but if beddy whippet go for a 3/4 bred just for that bit more speed.Some 1st xs can yap when chasing hence a 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy.I can’t see the prices coming down very soon so you can either sit it out or pay the money.But mind you there are some lads on here selling for top dollar but won’t admit it so be cautious in we’re you getting it from.

    You are right about what you put in front of them from growing up but I’m a big believer in let pups be pups and big them up steady and get there confidence up,That’s what makes most of the start with them then the rest comes naturally to them in my eyes but that’s me.

    There’s nearly always that special one in a litter that make the grade from worker or pet in my eyes from either lurcher or terrier.But even from good lines I’ve seen the full litter not turn out as good or producing the goods.

    It pisses me off when people think it has to be worker to worker when it’s been proved it doesn’t have to be,that’s why I never listen to that kind of crap mate.Like I said been there and done it and seen it.

    I’ve seen and done plenty and I’m very fussy,hence why I don’t just believe in worker to worker but if that’s the case you tell me how I can get a KC border terrier from good type show stuff turn out to be hard at his job and only get 4 digs a year out of it.And this wasn’t bred from 2 workers and good around other dogs and live stock but knew his job.

    I don’t believe in the worker to worker crap as it’s never guaranteed either as has been proven over the years to.Just like the terriers to I’ve proved umpteen time with border terrier you don’t need worker to worker and KC stuff does work.All of 41 years experience working dogs and seen these top notch bred ones produce crap as well as good.No difference in my eyes but each to there own.

    The oldest step son won a t shirt off this American off YouTube and got it last week and guess what,yup a pic of a white and black fist saying (I love this shit too) then a little bubble saying we all bleed the same.He only entered to win it for me but if I knew it was going to say that the f****r could of shoved it up his arse.

    We both work full time and she earns more than me and works longer as she is a support worker,the house work and washing is all done before she goes to work for 7 on a morning.I’m out before 6 but she will put the dogs back in the kennels before she goes to.

    It happened to one of my deerhound greyhound dogs yrs ago mate,I’m a pestie and it was nothing I used but that’s what he did and 5days later started bringing up blood.It was the fact his crap was a different colour a few days before is I released what it was.Hope it comes right for you mate but I think it scares there lungs.atb mate

    These will be the same mate and the dogs about 25/26 and a bit stronger built all made good keen dogs and punched high.The bitch I kept was on her 1st roe at 11mths and held it ok but some come quicker than others.She hoovered rabbits up like no tomorrow.But the 5 that were worked everyone who had them all say they were to fast for there own good but would have another tomorrow ?.They were all nice pups when I looked at them but the brindle would be my choice before a black one.
