    Some do some don’t depends on how they are bred,and as for size why not bring them down abit as when I brought the size down on mine it was a bit more better on the turning and speed.But still punched above its size.

    Every 1 I do mate I say we don’t touch bees just to try and educate them but it trying to get them to understand is the worst thing.

    We were doing the student flats yesterday and I had a callout for wasps,but told them if it’s bees they won’t be getting touched.I’ve advised the contract manager to start looking for local beekeepers just in case.

    my mate isn’t that desperate for the work for me to do that but I will put lads onto him for quality gear.I could probably put pics up that might embarrass him but I think lads who can do this kind of work is a credit to them.

    I raised that up 3ft and had to leave it to settle,now I have to lift them and get more sand under so I can get the concrete between them which will happen this weekend.

    I built this just before the winter came because of COVID the wood was 3mths late,luckily enough I’ve got enough shiplap boards left to extend it another 16ft hopefully the end of this month.

    The farmer throw a tin down the hole years before we started checking them,luckily we found the empty tin arms length down the hole before we let the dogs check it out.That was when I was 13 and I’m 51 now and still nothing has ever been back in it and we have never let the dog near to check it out either.

    Blocks will be cheaper with the way timber has gone mate,plus it won’t give your birds night fright if someone knocks the side of ya partition inside.
