    Hand on heart I don’t know anyone who ever has been stopped walking there dogs and getting scanned to see if the dog is chipped,since the law has been out but ya probably know it’s just another government scam to make money out of you.But I think we all do it to save getting that £1000 fine for each pup out that litter.

    Ive just been having abit crack with him mate and form the pics he has sent that’s a good litter 11,His plans are to keep the line going and I know they will be well sorted and better then Dave platts stuff plus they will see the work.

    You are supposed to chip the pups before the new owner gets the pup,then they change the chip into there name.But sometimes that doesn’t happen as I’ve had dog wardens ring me 8yrs later one was a border bitch I sold a lad over Cumbria which was a good fox bitch.The dog warden couldn’t get it into his thick head why the bitch and a lurcher was found in Carlisle and I live in Durham.

    I would say 6 duck eggs mate or 8 American game,I had 8 under a call duck before and she just say managed to sit but they were light Sussex

    That’s why I can’t understand why people buy the cheap jabs now that can be out of date when Vets4pets are about £2 more for proper ones.

    It’s that how yours are bred mate as I know he has worked these for over 10yrs and swears by them.

    I know my mate trick mate he wants me look at them but he thinks I’m going to have one,I couldn’t do a lurcher any justice at the minute as there is nothing around for me unless I just use it for big game.

    My mate works 3/4 wild polecats to 1/4 home bred ones and he says they will work all day long,He also has 1stx ones and says they are a bit nippy but graft all day to.

    I know John slack sold him a dog called Saxon which looked the part but wouldn’t pick up.And John put plenty in front of it,sold it to Dave platts and the next thing it’s the best dog he’s had and done all sorts.I wouldn’t believe a word platts says about them as that dog wouldn’t of no where near the stuff John put in front of it even though he told Dave the the dog was crap.

    Spot on mate that’s what kids these days should be like,eat what ya catch and they won’t be fussy eaters like most of them these days.?

    I see where ya coming from mate,the ones I’ve seen were always bred right from good coursing Deerhounds’s and had good tight feet,yeh some would take a knock but the ones that got to injured where the ones that was going to hard on their prey.It’s one of the horses for courses type of thing.I’ve never been a bull or saluki man but I do and have had some good beddyxs which would be another thing that could be worth mixing into the deerhound xs.I’ve only ever seen one of them and he was a strong powerful looking dog and the lad who owned him said he was doing alsorts.

    Even some mate ya can’t trust but like I’ve said had it all before on here about giving things for free.And if I ever get things gifted I always repay my debts so nothing can get chucked back in ya face,I learnt that lesson years ago.
