    If I get up at 6am is a lie in for me especially on a weekend,my new partner can’t get her head around why I get up from 4.30 plus as I can’t get back to sleep.So it’s up housework done and dogs fed and out for a walk by 6.30-7.

    I no a few lads that’s jacked in digging and lurchers as they can’t afford to get caught incase they lose there business,or can’t be done with the hassle of going to court for a fox or a hare.And lose a fortune in a motor so either give the dogs away or just keep them as pets now to save the fuss or not enough stuff about.

    lol I don’t give them stuff like that mate,that was my mate with the twix and he tries to give them bits like that and I tell him not to.They have there own food in my bag and that’s the thing with borders to,they will eat 2 tatties more than a pig and eat the pig after that

    That’s the old saying that goes around about borders mate from these videos there’s idiots that’s never owned 1.I always say treat them like a lakie patterdale or Russell pups they will work from a early age.But if you listen to the loons and leave them in a kennel until they are 3yrs old you have ya work cut out.I think a lot of people want world beaters in lurches or terriers by the time they are 11mths old mate.A lot of terriers that’s smashed to bits and never rest 100% jack because there wounds are still sore to the touch just like what happens to us.If left a few months to heal properly

    These are the ones that was mute but the bitch with the young dog was nice and steady,the old dog I lost to ground in winter when we broke through he was dead.I think he had a fit of something so I put the young dog in to finish both foxes this was about 25yrs ago.ive had borders 37yrs now and never fancied any other breed.

    I’ve only ever had 1 baron bitch mate and she was a hard dog.I was gutted that I couldn’t keep anything off her mate that was about 25yrs ago.She was mute to and had no pain barrier

    My last 2 dogs I dug with were mute and just ran straight in and locked on.Thats why I used to only get 4 digs a season mate,but my bitches we’re nice and steady

    They are 9mths old now mate,there noses are never off the floor senting things.

    I’ve lost 2 over the years for been to hard and only 4 digs a season with them.Its trying to get them to pace themselves when they are like that.

    My mate has a deerhound xgreyhound beardiexgreyhound it’s had hares and a few rabbits but shitloads of roe.Thats all he is interested in big stuff

    Mine done everything you wanted them to do mate,I only put the whippet blood in to bring the size down.The pup I kept had its 1st roe at 11mths old,but they are know to be late matures and people who have had them,want a world beater at 12mths old thinking they mature like ya bullx and others.But like chats says you get good and bad in all breeds.
