News Reporter Shot Dead Whilst Filming Live
neil cooney replied to The Seeker's topic in General Talk
There was a spokesman from the gun lobby on the radio and his argument was that people should have the right to protect themselves with a gun when someone goes to shoot them, but those two victims in the video would never have drawn a gun in time to defend themselves. The coward walked up behind them. But, IMO a nutter like that if he couldn't have got a gun he'd have used a knife, a machete or a vehicle to get his revenge. Sad. -
Turns out he's a foreigner, he only has an Irish passport. Bloody thug, did you see the way he wrecked that poor shopkeepers fridge ? I bet he doesn't even drink Guinness.
-
Sounds delicious. Every time I find a nice clean puff ball my hands are always full but one of these days I'll get one for the pan. Anyone else noticed mushrooms have been early this year ? I seen field mushrooms two months ago.
-
All he wanted was a bottle of water. No one said he was a pro fighter. He's just a normal Irish lad going about his business who scared off a load of curs. They're lucky they didn't spill his pint. He'd have slit their throats.
-
Ahh, the English have had their say. Personally I don't think he'd have noticed the stick and chairs broke across his back.

You're right, but it has kicked me in the arse once. A messer a few mile from me had a lurcher stolen and I jumped a wall into the dog thieves parents house looking for the dog (we were told it was there) but it wasn't there. When his brothers dogs were stolen I made 20 phone calls and bent over backwards for him. I got re-paid by the scumbags I tried to help by them telling lies about me. Make sure who you're helping is 100%.

I agree with you Neil 100% but not everyone is of the same mind set , if the law won't help him and he's not the sort that would do what he's got to do ,it's still not right that some scummy twat has taken his dog .I can't help but sympathise with anyone that has their dog taken . There's a well known dog thief down in Limerick who sends all the dogs to England and it's well known that the police will not go near him. I've known of lads go into his place and their stolen dogs are there for all to be seen. YET, they left without them. He just tells them he'll burn their houses down with

I'm not going down to your level Mud.
-
Yep, that's what a diet of Guinness and stew makes you. All I'll say is that those yobs are lucky the Irish man hadn't his wife and kids with him. There'd have been carnage.
-
Of course he deserves sympathy , not everyone cut out to go charging in a site trying to take thier dogs back . Wasn't it brookies mate that tried it and almost lost an arm or something to a machete ( sorry if I got that wrong ) . What's the next one if you don't have the balls to charge in a traveller site you shouldn't be aloud to keep dogs. Anyways, he has photographs of the pups and bitch so I'd be very surprised if there's no way you could get the police to help get them back.
-
JMHO but if my dogs were stolen and I knew where they are I'd get them back and that's that. Only a fool would walk into such a place and ask for his dogs back. Not macho bullshit, fact of life, if someone takes your dogs you do all you can to get them back. Disappearing into thin air is one thing but knowing ,or at least knowing where the thieves are, is 99% of getting your dogs back. I'm a law abiding person but if the law wont help then you do what you got to do. I always write about dog thieves in a rant because IMO the rats living in the sewers have more right to life than them.

I saw it, they showed the dead badger and it definitely looked like it had been worked over by a dog and the dog had certainly been in a fight with something when they found it. No mention of any prosectuion though, maybe it's still going through the courts? Can understand being skeptical of anything the RSPCA say but this case seemed to be on the level That's where I'm at a loss as I've never seen a badger that had been killed by a dog. The only dead badgers I've ever seen have been on the side of a road other than the location I'd have no idea what killed them. If that program wa

f**k me !!!!! Knowing where your dogs are is 9/10's of the job in getting them back. If your mate wont get help to go in there and get them back then he deserves no sympathy. JMHO.

thats exactly what I was on about jeemes.nothing about authorities,so neil Cooney LOL don't THINK for one second I was on about authorities atb mud Oh, I'm sorry about that. So the authorities don't look at these sites to see who breaks the law and who doesn't. It's only the anti's who troll these sites then ? So we've nothing to fear is what you mean (unless you use your real name) as the anti's don't have ways of following up computers. Are the RSPCA not anti's ? Can the anti's raid your home and confiscate your dogs ? Wake up. Nick, there's an old saying, "Never argue with a fool
-
I could be wrong here, but, I'm always very suspicious of anything the RSPCA or the British media touches that involves dead badgers. Let's face it, you're roads over there are littered with dead badgers and your dog homes full of lurchers. In a housing estate ? Seen by witnesses ? The culprit will be easy to I.D. Did the program mention a prosecution? I didn't see the program but let's face it past track records with these cowboys (the RSPCA and media) says it all.
-
Unless it's a massive established sett I'd wager that those poor badgers will move out.
-
LOL, don't for one second think that hiding behind a different name would keep you out of trouble. The authorities, if they wished, could find out who you are in a couple of minutes. The stupid ones are those who admit to breaking the law and hide behind a name then cry when they get a visit. Those who use their real name do so because they put their money where their mouth is and stand by anything they write. Back to subject.

Yep seen an add for it recently in the CMW. I was at it last year, a very enjoyable day, from what I remember, LOL.
-
LOL, if you'd been in some of the back street underground joints I've been in Jigsaw it would be the first thing you'd think off.
-
Did that dog take 9 foxes single handed AT ? If so, hat's off.
-
Sounds like the phone number being traced could be the secret to catching the lowlifes.
-
Oh I get it now ! It's a private club for dogs. A dog gives the secret knock on the door, the doggy bouncer opens the hatch asking for the password. Sort of like a doggy Speak Easy.
