  1. awww hey guys? Sometimes we want you to go out hunting... Fill the freezer and be real men And leave us a bit of peace to read the women's mags
  2. Classy hound. Love the cooling off photo
  3. So any saluki in her? sorry to but in - first salukis in Ireland landed in Galway - thanks to Brian Duggan and his research
  4. Gorgeous - great condition too Have a few gypsy cobs clearing the fields ETA fabulous neck
  5. Yes as to getting it all over with. Have to watch the tension between the two alpha bitches - have vied for supremacy in the past. Have also noticed that the less dominant bitches have less of a season - almost a token gesture. Wonder if this is an age old pack thing - only the strongest genes get to breed? Or in our case none get to breed - the dog is remarkably laid back considering
  6. Sheesh these bitches cause so much hassle...
  7. Tonight I am dog sitting. My sal dog is sad and lonely his harem has deserted him. Five bitches have managed to synchronise their seasons....
  8. We all make mistakes. Maybe what we would like is some interaction? I realise how impossible this is in print ( resists legacy media labelling ) How much feedback do you get on your articles? More on RAW feeding ( +one from here ) more on getting hounds work fit? How to deal with breeding? Syndication of litters? * heads back to the pounds*
  9. Hold up the hands and take the responsibility = Four sal bitches in season and no litters wanted. Dealing with it... Sort of....
  10. You want comedy? The big lad was out for a midday run - safe no deer out in the open - I don't want him to catch now. His view from the front - and yes saluki nosed window http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r21/Calli_photos_album/?action=view&current=deer-2.jpg
  11. This pup now approaching 28" TTS Sire is full up 28" He can still turn though
  12. What about syndication? If you have a bitch that works then maybe see if you can find folk that want a pup first? Start a thread here with the proposed sire and dam and once you have potential buyers proceed with the mating.
  13. Mick Cawston is a legend...I sent a mate a pic of his which I hope is still on his wall. A good friend there!
  14. Ireland of a thousand welcomes indeed. Poor show lads
  15. Somewhat sweeping statement... Yes the greys have the bunched tight muscle for rip fast acceleration but I would still bank on one of my saplings - slight and tight turns on a sparrow Fit for purpose guarantee...
  16. Calli
