Sighs Too much blue print for us... We do not run the salukis on the prey The dumbass fallow run under their noses I know they are not technically known for their noses... I did manage recall on a BIG melanistic stag on the land, they see barbed wire ...Hounds too ...keen?

i know a gut whos got a 50 50 callie its a belter small enough 24tts and bloody fast ive seen it run and it will do what you want it to no bother but you dont get the feathering on a first cross and i dont know why Smooth is the dominant gene in salukis for a start and salukis are reknowned for random dna - think of the colour dominance? But it can happen - allegedly

mess with perfection??? Look I tried to register desertsaluki.ie and they threw me out lol seriously I am looking at the muscle balance - the grey gives the bunched muscle that gives the short burst of speed ( think pheasant) the saluki has the lean flat muscle that gives the stamina..

Hmm was thinking that the first cross is 50/50 sal grey - Ray you know I would keep as much saluki that the small irish fields allow - different demographics with the open plan farming So - I read that the bitch shapes the temperament 70% would you still want sal bitch x grey dog or grey bitch x sal dog And the first of the litter will be called Devils Advocate .....

Which is the best cross. I have heard the only cross is the first cross but which is best? Saluki bitch - mitochondrial Or grey bitch - nature and nurture By choice what would you use?

No one should ever put a price on a hound - it just doesn't feel right. Before I get shot down I would guess alot of buyers want instant results.

Oh please No!!!! Coat colour is the same in horses and hounds. It's what is inside that matters - the heart and the bonding and the willingness to run.

Separate homes was probably a gut reaction to having to separate the two little xxxxxxs from each other! Going on 5 to 6 weeks and sharp little teeth bite hard and the instinct in them is typical Parsons x border And would not like to go through that again. I need them rehomed as one of the salukis has decided that they are prey and the logistics are proving testing Like I have nothing better to do than dog politics???

Not what I said lol I would put pure saluki over any cross I have the fastest bitch you will ever see - pure saluki. I adore grey cross for different reasons.....
