Stop him licking it, and clip the fur from the wound - hair irritates open wounds. With the saluki grey heritage I would guess he is worrying the open wound. Purple spray is often a good deterrent - iodine based - but so not a good look if you are going out Muzzle if he is used to it - stop the obsessive cleaning that keeps the wound open. Jab of anti Bio if it shows any signs of inflammation.

Cracker of a day out. Way the best collection of hounds and terriers I've seen in a while and the lure chasing was sooo tempting. Where can you get the lures from? Anyone know? The dog saw the lure and just exploded - sorry to all the guests around us he's only a baby - out for a look see!

Beautiful hound. Which was the saluki sire or dam? I am interested in whether you guys prefer the bitches as greys and sires salukis or vise a versa? Does the flat saluki muscle override the grey bunched muscle?

Beautiful photos!!! Salukis give athleticism and endurance. The damside is roughly % of the genetics...as with the equines So - grey dam crossed over saluki sire? what more could you ask?

Clip one wing three feathers. They won't fly out. Alternatively check out orpingtons - they can't clear 3 feet!!! but are beautifull feathered birds - great layers. (the feathers of the partridge tie good wets )

What do you want the pups to do? You could use a pure saluki for stamina and agilty in the field (he is a deer grizzle smooth )

:DI feed raw diet and the chicken pieces are great raw! t he chicken remnants are excellent value. Anyone fancy a buying group? If you can get ox heart that is brilliant muscle meat!
