Instinct and natural hunting is so much stronger in the imports
It can be a bugger though lol
All my imports are alot more aggressive, protective, instinctive, .......and all the better for that tbh If I wanted biddable I would have a collie/terrier
Responsible ownership is all I care about
If you want a pet then fair play why not
But if you want a worker then a little more responsibility needed with regard to location and livestock
If you run an immature and it gets disillusioned then you will spoil the hound. Pure salukis are very individual hounds and each will be different. As a servant of several pures they let me know when they are ready to work.

Agree re Facebook fiasco
disagree re any different any where else
Bots and spiders gather everything onto databases so this is all monitored.
Legacy stuff was deep web like not getting past passwords...no longer
post wisely
Very sad thread.
Not the lurchers fault just the ignorant gits that used it and abandoned it.
I had some pure sals for sale and the number of calls asking if I had any 1-2 year olds going cheap??? FFS these hounds take alot of work and effort to stock break and even then not always foolproof.
All any one wants is a good home for the pups - the more places you put the word about the better chances of getting a good and appropriate home for the pup. By appropriate I mean that working hounds find working homes and pet pups find pet homes.
Throw into the discussion the upbringing of the pups - nature vs nurture if you like. You can have the best lines in the world but if you don't work it right then may well be classed wastage.
Also suspect different crosses will have different needs in upbringing...discipline / understanding / tolerance of errors of judgement ( human error that is ....)
i'll more and likely keep her of no one comes forward , just means ill have to put getting my collie on hold
Looks from the pics she has made her choice .......a happy hound indeed!
