Just out of curiosity,I know you do a lot of weights, how do you find the more advanced bodyweight exercises? 1 armed press ups, various types of pull ups and pistols? Just wondering if it's true big people find them much harder. my brother's about 20 stone at 6'11 and very fit for his size,he can run our weekly 5 miler in less than 30 mins, but struggles to even rattle off 10 pressups, let alone a one armed one. I dont lift anywhere near as heavy as i used to but my core strength was always good......something like a 1 armed press up is more about tendon strength and solid struct

Typical Utd fan.......anything below winning every trophy in sight is " just about average " Ive enjoyed watching them so far i think they are an interesting side to watch Rooney looks lifeless but them young lads Martial and the other one look good....id imagine Schweinsteigger when he gets up to the pace of our game will do some damage as well.

Kids are definately taller but they are also getting heavier.....thankfully its trendy these days for groups of lads to get down the gym regardless of sport so you tend to see better built kids carrying much better musculature than when we was young.....any physique over about 6 ft 3 - 6 ft 4 is always going to look ungainly unless the person has freakishly good genetics wide shoulders slim waist etc but theres no unhealthy size and shape its normally the mind thats unhealthy. Im a tiny fraction under 6 foot and around 19 stone these days.....not quite as low bodyfat as in the past but sti

Sounds like the right call to me....shows more ambition than Arsenal thats for sure....clubs of that stature should be serious contenders year in year out if things dont go well they must be changed i reckon Klopp will be the man to bring some good times back there.

I dont buy it.....tendon tears dont heal quickly simple as that.......personally i think Klitchsko was just showing Fury who,s boss and letting him see he shouldnt bite the hand thats feeding him.

Lets hope for an upset...from the upsetter I cant see it myself......but as you say you never know with Ovil.....this is a man who had to put a fight off against Courtney Fry up in Liverpool some years ago because he was working ......cracking character Ovil one of the nicest most decent lads in the game......and in the sort of shape he,s in wont be a pushover for anyone id love to see him bring a belt back... " Proud as a Peacock "

The fact Mickey Duff stopped a fight should tell you how tough Finnegan was ! Edit to add.................now Ovil Mckenzie there is a proper fighting man....he was over the moon that he had 11 days he said " this will give me time to really prepare ".................normally he gets 3 days !!

A lot of folk, myself included put blame on Micky Duff for throwing Rod in at the deep end he wasnt ready for Graham.......as amateur fights go he had 2 absolute wars with Nigel Benn and this being back in the day when gym wars were common he had a couple of nasty spars with Eubank and one with Errol Christie and never took a backward step so being a 24/25 year old fully grown man was put in with Graham on the strength of that......but it just showed the difference between the ams and pros Rod was game to the bone and it nearly cost his life.

Yes Riohog Sibson was from my time i didnt know him personally but he fought a couple of my old muckers Mark Kaylor and Dennis Andries i liked his style Sibson he was all action i always felt he could of dropped a weight division but he could punch hard and fast and was a handful for anyone......i forget who it is now but i know theres a member on here who knows him .....last i heard he was living down Devon way somewhere One of the biggest disappointments for me as a kid was the BBC not showing the Sibson-v-Minter fight for the European title...as Minter had a advert for DAF tru

What would make you say Gary Cornish has no heart ?.....he came out and threw punches but got nailed by a better fighter....it happens.

And theres your problem.....where i come from Brookie people dont throw out big statements and when called on to back them up they run away from their own statement.....and its not the first time is it ......I remember when you asked me about my boxing career and then said " well you,ve earned your stripes Gnash "....i giggled to myself thinking whats this idiot talking about stripes but i was polite and probably gave you a little ..................yet because im not a " Team Fury " fan suddenly i dont know my arse from my elbow Being the little cheerleader you are whos never done a thi

If you genuinely wanted to have a tear up with a stranger why would you tell them how hard you are first......they're not going to fight you if they think you are hard....duuuur ! I love the simple way the truth tells itself sometimes.
